yesterday during my meal with konami we stroke a deal and i can use all square enix ripped graphics for free
lol, some people... You know, I'd be willing to give this guy a pass regarding the character graphics, because I think he has changed them enough to be considered "his". It's evident he likes the style. Had he made them from scratch they would have ended looking pretty much the same way they do now, considering his spriting skills... But the world graphics are so blatantly ripped. He just changed things like size, color and direction. There should not be a price tag in that game, even if it is just one dollar.
btw, how come a game like that has so many comments/reviews? Is Steam a good place to get feedback on amateur games?

Click here to see some awesome boobies.
Heh; This never gets old... Now, I don't care about tits (or cocks, for that matter. =P) but boobies are awesome. How come there are no boobie videogame characters? I bet they would give Sonic a run for its money.
Where would your life be without RPG Maker?
I'd probably would have never given up on painting, and specially drawing... In high school, I used to draw a comic of me and my friends, sometimes re-imagining our shenanigans in various fantasy settings and stuff. I filled almost three notebooks that way, one page a day (Yeah, I didn't use to pay much attention during class xD). And before I first heard of rpg maker, I was learning how to set one of those crappy Geocites sites to start a web comic with my own characters. I even drew a few to get things rolling.
But then I leatrned about rpg maker. Got a bunch of Chrono Trigger rips, and I replicated Crono's house the best I could. Put Crono in there, and just looking at him walking around blew my mind; Like, in the most literal way possible.
And to be honest, I kind of regret that now. Games are probably the best medium ever, and a great outlet for your creativity, but they demand so much more time and effort to get things done. Just to make a simple scene I not only have to draw something and slap some text into it, but I have to sprite, write, map, direct, synchronize, edit, test, test, test, test, and at the end of the day things never look like you pictured them anyway. And games keep getting better and better each year, and you just can't keep up... -_-

Would someone be as kind as to help me list emotions you feel in conversations?
"Mortification" does appears in one of those tables. "Mortification" is such a funny word, btw. It sounds so over-the-top, that it's almost comical. How does a "mortified" person looks like, I wonder? ...Anyway, most of these words are just synonyms. I see little to no point in trying to catalog or quantify them. Just open up a thesaurus, for Christ's sake.

But to add to the topic: usually I feel some kind of "second-hand embarrassment" by the vast amounts of 'doublethink' in display.
That, and a bit of "Schadenfreude", specially when some people gets thrown under the bus by their ideological overlords. =^)

I'm currently contemplating on giving Megaman X6, 7 and 8 a try. They are the only ones of the series I haven't beaten/played.
X6 is fine. It's a legit MMX game. If you liked X4 or X5, there's no reason why you wouldn't like X6 as well; they're the same thing. I don't know why people may not like it. The story maybe? But then again, who plays Mega Man for the story? ...X7 and X8 in the other hand, I could never get into. The change of graphics from 2D to 3D, and specially the occasional changes of perspective from side-scroller to third-person shooter, was too much for me. It's just not the same anymore.
Am I a bad person?
Well, I don't know you, but I'd still be inclined to say: "No". However isn't this like the second time you bring this up? What exactly are you trying to convince yourself of here? Have you been drinking "guilt by association" Kool-Aid by any chance? That stuff is not good, man... Just take care of yourself. And BE yourself. That's all you need to do. =P
Watching ProJared's video on Chrono Trigger really makes me want to replay it again.
I'm doing just that! I got to Magus at lvl 20 and he's kicking my ass. I would probably be able to beat him if only I had more healing items, but the few I had gotten so far in the game were not enough. So I guess I'll have to backtrack all the way back to town or something...
What I'm trying to say is: "I come from the future. Don't forget to buy mid-tonics."

What if you created something that changed someone's life?
I'm with Isrieri on this one. One of my friends likes to thank me for getting him into art. He insist my art "inspired" him, and made him pursue a career in animation. But I'm like: "Nope. All I did was showing you some old drawings. YOU did the rest." And I think he knows that too. He just wants to make feel good. I guess that's what friends do...
Likeweise. I don't think any form of media ever "changed" my life. Not in the way that sounds at least, because obviously, I decided to pursue art myself because I thought art was cool. What I mean is, I don't think any individual piece of art shaped my life in any significant way. Sure there were times when I thought: "This resonates with me", but those ideas were already part of who I was at the time. Even if you claim we all pick things up subconsciously at some point, you have to own them at some other point in your life. And that is a conscious process. And besides, media is not the only outside stimuli in your life either...
Long story short, if someone told me I changed their life for the good, I would feel like I'm taking credit away from that person.
And if someone said I changed their lives for the worse... well, you probably know what kind of contempt I harbor for that idea.

since when cardcaptor sakura is FANSERVICE? >_>
This is the kind of puritanism people is adopting these days. Where close ups to a costume cannot be just close ups to a costume. It's "legs tits, and ass" because "messages" messages everywhere! ...It's my hope that someday people will look back at this and laugh at it, like we do today regarding backward masking in heavy metal albums.
