While I've used RPG Maker for maybe 4 or 5 years now, I've never completed or published any RPGs. Hopefully, I'll be able to soon. If I ever do, feel free to say whatever you want about them. Note that I don't make them namely for a fanbase but more of for my own self-enjoyment, however, constructive criticism is always welcome.
Right now I have absolutely no inspiration for any future projects. I've juggled a few ideas for either new things for my current project (which is borderline hiatus right now) and new ideas but nothing is satisfying me -_-

post=153246I wish they could just do that now with the currently useless DSi shop. On the Wii there's tons of crap that I want, but on the DSi shop, I still have 1800 of the 2000 points that I got with the system (and this was a year ago.)
^I agree with the above. Also Nintendo will probably provide GBA and older games for the download store on the 3DS.
EDIT: Oh golly new page.
But if they did that, that would be awesome (especially if they were kind enough to release Mother 3, but like THAT'S going to happen.)
And back on topic, I hate the final boss. He's evil. I bet he's actually easy but right now he's just a plain douche to beat.
Dragon Quest IX
post=153040Two words, Metal Slimes. Also, tension is your best friend if you want to turn boss battles into jokes (100 tension+Oomph+Falcon Blade+Falcon Strike= Win.)
I kind of wish I could keep spells between classes in this game, as the Minstrel's lack of good healing spells is starting to screw me over, but I just don't want to change her xD Same with the rest of my characters, Martial Artist, Warrior and mage, 'cause they're doing their jobs well: The Warrior and Martial Artist slaughter things while the mage spams Bang, Sap or Accellerate depending on the situation (The later two generally being boss fights)
I'll persevere though, even if it means a million tries at fighting Lleviathan...
But yeah, I hated how screwed over the Minstrel was (I guess like the Red Mage.) Oh well, I solved my problem by just having an overpowered sage.

I find that funny, a banner that advertises that it can save your marriage is met with one that helps you break it. Internet makes a lot of sense -_-

You can make these kinds of arguments with any video game franchise. There are people who believe that Ocarina of Time ruined the Zelda franchise, people who believe SotN ruined the Castlevania franchise, and don't get me started on what people say about the Sonic franchise.
However, I don't think any have really "killed" the franchise as of now. I've only played a handful of them, but I liked FFX, I do want to play FFXIII, and I might try FFXII just to see if it's as bad as people say, because I have heard some people who have had some good things to say about it.

Considering each title has nothing to do with the last, I think this topic is rather stupid. Some are better than others, but to blame any one title for destroying the ones that followed makes no sense to me. There are also different teams working on separate entries, so maybe commenting on those teams would be more worthwhile.

I think he means it's something that WIP can do to your avatar (if he likes you enough? Idk either.)
Some of them are pretty weird though. I think I do remember Karsu actually having an "asspear" as an avatar at one time but that was a while ago but the phrase is still there.

Somehow I thnk it's gonna play out like a normal 1v1, cept when switching pokemon you don't mss a turn if you switch to one of the other two on the spinner. Maybe even lock it out to being just those 3 pokemon the whole fight *shrug*
That's how I'd do it anyway, but I ain't game freak sooooo
