Interestingly, if you compare forum/gamepage hits from RRR then you'll find that the forum topics get more hits. Does this mean that gamepages are worse in general? No. It just means RRR isn't set-up in a way that makes gamepages visible. Ergo, comparing RRR and RMN is pretty silly.
Curious to see some numbers you are claiming here. The only number I have to go off is what was just said about Eden Legacy which is the opposite of which you have.

My thoughts on discussion on game profiles is almost purely about the visual design on them. They work pretty much just like a forum topic when it comes to discussion. They even look the exact same, when you look at the profile comments vs. a forum topic.
The distinction between game profile and forum topic will continue to grow larger and more apparent.

I do not recall those games Azn listed lifting the exact scenario, names, and lines of text directly from their source. There is a line between creating a sort of "derivative work" like Super Mario RPG 2: Mario Gets Pumped, and rationalizing the act of directly copying works and calling it influence.
EDIT: No your game has not been restored and will not be reaccepted. There is certifiable proof of lifting content from another work and then pawning it off as your own. I do not care if you wish to rationalize this by saying it "influenced" you. You do not steal from influences.
Also of this moment, I will discuss with the other staff members about revoking your user account. As stated in the Game Submission guidelines, plagiarism will result in a user ban. I'm sorry.

Yes they do click that link, hali. The game section on the site gets over three times the views as the forums do.

Blending the forums with game profiles seems completely backwards to me. The forums are not game profiles, and the game profiles are not forum topics. Putting them together would be counter-intuitive. The thing you described, hali, is pretty much what happens already. They just have to click a different link. The one that says Games. I am not sure how more intuitive than that you can get.
