Not home so I can't check, but does VX Ace allow damage over 9999 without the use of scripting? If not, what's a good script to exceed it?

I feel this way pretty much every time I move to a new place and suffer through that interim of waiting for them to hook up the net...
Yup, that's why I had no internet. This has been me for the last week:
"I wonder what the forecast is for tomorrow? I'll go check the Weather Networ- oh wait."
"Hmm... I wonder when that new album is coming out? The Wikipedia article should say! I'll just open Chrome and... oh."
"Oh man, I'm bored! I think I'll watch an episode of something on Netfl- oh yeah, damn it..."
And then there's the amount of development stuff for my game that I store online, along with people who I only keep in touch with online for various reasons, and then there's the billion Steam games I have that require an internet connection.
It was a long seven days!
So much for putting our heads together, I'm the one that's doing all the thinking.....

That's definitely one of my considerations. I know that you can redeem a code to get a free game with Mario Kart 8, so I'll be getting New Super Mario Bros. U with that. I'm also interested in two games that aren't out yet, Hyrule Warriors and the new Smash Bros.
Does anyone remember Phylomortis? I've heard the creator of that game was a bit of a dick.
He did do some pretty awesome things and also had that great resource site at one point, but yeah, a lot of people in the past used to say something similar. I heard that he was a bit of a handful if you tried to talk to him on IRC, but I have no experience with him on a personal level.
Pac-Man in Smash Bros. I uh... It's... How can you... uh, uh, I don't... Words, please... SOMEBODY HELP
Yeah, Pac-Man actually fits well considering the heavy Namco influence in the game. He's not unusual at all to see in the game, he'll fit in beautifully with the likes of Mario, the Pokemon, or kiddy Mega Man. Now, if they added someone like Kazuya or Nightmare instead? That would be a little peculiar.
