That doesn't make any sense. It's definitely a working save file. If you can't get it working, I'll add something to that map that restores the party by the save point and send it to you.

Hover over your name in the top left hand corner and go to "locker". You can upload your save there and then just post the URL here and I'll grab it for you.
Triple Triad: TotE NPC Cameos
I wish! The plugin doesn't have any capabilities like that. It can check to see if the player won or lost, but it can't check to read what cards they won with or anything.

I added an NPC for ya: Mr. Cactuar, a strange man is who absolutely obsessed with collecting all of the Cactuar cards in the world and become the world’s largest collector and distributor of Cactuar. His entire deck contains nothing but Cactuar cards. And if he happens to win a match against you and you don’t have a Cactuar card in your deck, he simply won’t want it. Kinda of a joke character.
I can't do much about him refusing any non-cactuat cards, but I can certainly do the rest!
Triple Triad: Tournament of the Elements
On phone so I can't write super thorough responses, but here we go!
The rules are open, same, plus, combo, plus wall, same wall, sudden death. Card exchange rules are one, all, indirect, and none.
There is a loose story, but it's not super serious. It all ties into winning the tournaments and seeing what the supposed mystery prize is. As you win tournaments and become more revered as a good card player, you'll also wind up making rivals along the way.
Tournaments are made up of five matches each. As for who the final matches are in each... well, you may or may not be right with your guess!
And no Blackmoon Prophecy presence at all. You may see some of my FF6 edits from Black.oon Prophecy II here and there, but there are no fan game characters in the game.
