We all have those games that we just don't like or can't stand! I myself have plenty, like Chrono Trigger I just can't get into it like other jrpgs.

I... I thought I was the only one!

Chrono Trigger bores me to tears. The music lacks a certain "oomph" that other Square games had back in the 1990s and the pace of the game felt so... slow. I just couldn't enjoy it at all.

Now, Chrono Cross on the other hand? I fucking love Chrono Cross.

Resident Evil 2 with GOOD controls and probably a third person camera view? Colour me excited!

The fumes are delicious.

I followed One Piece religiously from its inception up until... I think Thriller Bark? It blows my mind because it felt like it was so far in, but I know that even Thriller Bark is like ancient history compared to wherever they are now in the series.

There isn't even really a reason for why I stopped reading/watching it. I just went a day without watching a new episode and then turned into a week. Then a month. Then a year. It's funny, because I was such a ravenous fan of the series. So ravenous that I was upset that Franky joined the crew over Paulie for over a year. I like Franky, but Paulie was... Paulie. They could've had a badass rope/whip fighter with so many hilarious vices. :(

I think one thing that has discouraged me from going back is the time jump. I'm not opposed to time jumps, but I looked at the character designs of the post-jump crew members and shuddered. I felt like some characters got decent redesigns while others just looked fucking WRETCHED. Like Franky. How long ago was the time jump? Because I still think Franky looks flat out stupid and terrible now. I don't dislike Franky, he's always been an awesome powerhouse. His redesign just rubs me all the wrong ways it possibly can.

I also feel a little weird whenever I look at most of the female characters because of how insanely fanservicey the series has gotten. Whenever I see a newer picture of Nami or someone, their breasts are gigantic and they have legs like skyscrapers. I like how Oda's art style has improved so much since he started One Piece, but I don't care for how much he sexualizes his characters anymore.

I will say one thing though! One Piece has way more likable characters than any other anime I ever watched. Seriously. Every arc, almost every character. Rarely was I happy to see a character go. I'm looking up One Piece stuff now and I'm sitting here going, "Oh yeah! That guy/girl! They were awesome!"

I also miss playing my Japanese copy of One Piece: Grand Battle Rush on my old GameCube. That game was BAD. ASS.

I will. I've already decided that my side project will be moved from VX Ace to MV (which is good because I barely even started it). I like the appeal of a default side view battle system. As much control as scripted ones offer, I don't feel like dicking around with code that I can barely understand. Default systems are far easier for me to work with.
