But then there's Gemini... I thought they might be trying to make one of their own look innocent, but that seems a little too simple. There's no way we could overlook that. Do they want us to lynch GOG, find out he's a hero, then go after Gemini?

You'd stake your life on it because you got an anonymous message that said he's a villain? Well, I certainly wouldn't stake my life on it even if I got the message.
What with the whole Natook fiasco, here's what I think is happening: there is a villain with the ability to send anonymous messages to people. On day 2, they sent a message to Chaos pretending to be a "deputy" (which may or may not be an established rule; I've found nothing on it) and tried to make us lynch Natook, or at least make Chaos suspicious of him. I already explained this possibility a while ago. Now, that same person sent a message to Font that implicates GOG because they know he's not a villain.
I thought to myself, "what if the deputy role is real?" They can apparently send a message to a random hero each night, but they're also given the identity of one villain at the start of the game. How would they learn the identity of more than one villain? If they're given one each night, then that's ridiculously overpowered, so it's a safe assumption that they are only given one period. It's probably safe to assume that only one person can send messages as well. Because of this, it's likely that both Font and GOG are not villains.

Whoa. I didn't notice this.
Hastily trying to shift the focus to Geo. This makes him way more suspicious.

I'd like to hear some actual defense here, because that was pretty weak.

That is the worst possible place for the message to cut off. Asa is mafia, only... only what?
I'm still not 100% sure that geo is telling the truth about his role. However, we can trust him for the most part. He told us about his role long before we suspected we had an alignment cop (that would be when Liberty said she knew Font was innocent but suspected Arcan was guilty; that she investigated Font and didn't investigate Arcan). At that point, he wouldn't have known it would be convenient, and he would have been taking a risk. It's possible that he did so, since he could easily fabricate anyone's response, but this might not be convenient in every situation.
So if Liberty's crystal passed on to someone else, does that mean that we'll always have a cop on our side? Awesome.
Also, I am more than slightly suspicious of Austra's comment about Arcan and his "WHOA I'M NOT MAFIA I SWEAR" freakout. He sounded kind of desperate. This is just speculation though.
