No more killing Rabbits and Seagulls.
author=Billwilliams
Maybe if they were Doom Bunnies and Satan Gulls?
I guess that would work. But then I'd need a reason why there was a plague of doom monsters spreading across the world -.-
No more killing Rabbits and Seagulls.
author=Zephyrauthor=StedarBecause they totally deserve it so much more?
Hopefully you'll feel better killing Hawks and Bears XD
Why has no one ever commented on the monster choices of any other RPG haha? Anyway, I think most people can agree that bears could possibly (and might) actually kill you. And it isn't too much of a stretch that a hawk might want to eat you/peck your eyeballs out if there was nothing else.
Killing "innocent" things vs. Killing not so innocent things. :|
No more killing Rabbits and Seagulls.
The Cicatrix (Formerly Hero I: Ephren's Journey) Review
author=LockeZ
Uh, the average of 2.5 (story), 3 (gameplay) and 3.5 (visuals) is 3. He didn't include NPC Dialogue in his final score, which makes perfect sense, because as he said, it's really part of story.
This is a nice, thorough review. And the game looks like a pretty good game, from reading the review. I might try it out.
Thanks for stopping by :)
Hero: Chronicles Of Rose

I can't seem to start a new game... AND there are 15 pre-made save files. Any explanation?
Not sure why you can't start a new game... did you try re-downloading it? The 15 savefiles were a leftover accident. They kinda just help if you get stuck somewhere.
This game is old and done with, if you want something newer check out Hero I: Ephren's Journey.

Yeah, never seen anything like this before.
Did you by any chance try re-downloading it? Other than that I can't think of what would be the problem.
Is there even an error message at all?
The Cicatrix (Formerly Hero I: Ephren's Journey) Review
It seems NPC dialogue is going to get a revamp next release X)
And the 2.5/3 discrepancy doesn't bother me personally. It's just a little beta demo with a chunk of story and some areas to play around in :)

Thanks for the review! I'll keep everything you said in mind next time I crack it open and work more.
Oops. Tales of Vesperia music for the loss... I wasn't really sure what to with intro music, so that's what it ended up being. Should I stick with something like two themes? I kinda wanted an epic track playing during certain parts but finding epic rpg music isn't exactly all that easy. Thanks for letting me know though!

Good review, agree with the bad dialogue NPC part. I am surprised there was no mention of the unfitting music that came in randomly (some anime crazy jrock that abruptly came into the intro destroying the atmosphere or any tension the audience was supposed to feel).

Oh man, I took a note of that as well. Have to admit the music montage at the beginning provides a really weird contrast compared to the rest of the demo, there was like five songs in the introduction alone.

It's been a while. Anyone willing to do a review for me? ;)
author=The_Mad_Poet
I've kept meaning to download and play this, but then somehow forgetting. A request for a review seems a good time to stop procrastinating on this and start procrastinating on some other things instead.
Loading up now; let's see where this goes.
Thanks for testing it out :]

Hm, I guess if it's complete enough to warrant a review I could do it. I'm looking for something to cover this weekend, but I really hate the 2k3 DBS and you'd probably end up with a low score because of it.
It's sort of an enhanced dbs, but you may still hate it.

I was going to write one but I got caught up with other stuff and idk, I haven't written a review in aeons. I'll try playing it again since I was looking forward to it and stuff, surprised this didn't get enough attention.
Thanks for the consideration :)
