I really like the style! Definitely will give it a play, I've been playing games like Paper Mario and Chocobo's Dungeon. So this should be a lot of fun.

For those waiting: We're working on the final touch-ups for the demo at the moment. We've had to push the demo release date further back (not too far back though, just a few days) to fix up some numbers and clean up a few events.

It's funny you mention that because I sprited those a looooong while back in reference to Pokémon S/M before the final evos of the starters were released. I wanted to make little, vague luchador masks based on said starters, and you wouldn't believe my surprise when it was revealed one of the final evolutions was actually based on a wrestler!

This looks fantastic, love the aesthetic. Smart sprite work and tiling. I do hope the final game is 16:9 though.
Thank you for the kind words! Unfortunately, it's gonna be 4:3 but maybe in the future we could work towards a version with a 16:9 aspect ratio (It's definitely crossed my mind before). But, for now, it'll be 4:3.
