Well, I can't say your complaints weren't justified

OK, I shall do my page then =) Thanks for clearing that up Tardis

Indie Game Maker issues

OK, first of all, I'm trying to make a top down shooter in Indie Game Maker and I've run across a few problems.

First of all, I'd like to have more than three weapons, and the Player Gadget only has three projectiles. Can I set a slave Gadget to the Player to get around this?

Second of all, I'd like for there to be a strafing system, where when you hold LT on the XBox pad, your direction is locked. If you're facing left, then hold LT and move, you'll keep facing left whilst moving in any direction so you can strafe. It'd be essential for a top down shooter.

Third, whenever I walk against a wall to the left or down, the character stops perfectly, but when I hit a wall that's right or up from the player, it judders about.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

(Can you guess what I'm working on BTW?)

Wait, so it's been sent to two of us? =S *Puts down tablet in confusion and daren't continue until things are clarified*

I originally put this forward for YDS to do, but he says he tried playing it and isn't very good at top down shooters. Maybe you'd have better luck? The gaem does have some tough bosses but I'd love to watch someone do a playthrough.

(Oh and remember to read the PCs)

No worries mate. The game does have some difficult bosses for newcomers to top down shooters

Thanks. I actually went back to the second boss after reading this and tried that glitch. I don't know how I missed it during testing

Fenrir: First Operation Review

"Rating this game on character development would be like rating Pacman on character development." - I love this sentence. And thank you for reading the info on the PCs etc, a lot of people seemed to miss that

Aye, music was a bit of an afterthought and is the biggest complaint I've ahd about the game. It's something I'll remember to put more care into in future
