Help with Vx/Vx Ace?

So I decided to get the trial version of Ace yesterday. It looked fine but when I went to look at things like the database, the database pop up window was too large for the entire screen, and the font was enlarged it looked like too. I tried reinstalling it but it stayed the way it is. So I tried doing something with regular Vx instead, and it somehow ended up doing the same with the Ace all of a sudden. This has never happened before until I installed Ace and now my copy of Vx is all wacky. here is some screenies if this helps with the problem.

Suggestions on what to do y'all? I'd like to try what Ace has to offer after doing 2k3 for years.

You can make the tile he is supposed to walk on into a touched by hero event, or a collision with hero event to do this. If you want the villian to notice the hero, you can use the command, move event and click on the command, face hero. Be sure to register the movement to the name of event of the villian. To make him speak click on the command message. if you want him to speak while he is moving, have him move around and uncheck the box that says to wait the duration while he is moving. That way he can move around while he is still talking. If you don't want that, you can mess with the message settings so that events do not move while a message box is open. To move them to a new map, it's simple enough to use the command teleport, and decide where you want the hero to be on the next map and then which way the hero is facing. Hope this is what you wanted. :P

I think I've noticed it once or twice maybe... Was too small to notice a lot I guess.

I like just about everything about it. I like the idea of not really having a gameover and just being sent to the underworld. Would dying in there mean a gameover though I wonder? It's very nice and I hope you can manage to do everything you listed on the maker of your choice. Graphics better be good as well instead of full rtp. :P
