Well, at least foreign films are still pretty good. See here and here and here and here.
But, yeah, I think we can all say with safety that Hollywood had become a machine that pumps out cliche romantic comedies, crappy American remakes of foreign horror films (because we can't read subtitles or anything), Oscar-bait dramas, and senseless, derived action flicks. Well, we can still make a good movie or two, but nowhere near enough.
