It Moves Review

Let me use my favourite RMN quote: "People put a lot of effort in their games, and they expect them to be played correctly and reviewed correctly."
Told ya!

Holy crap, that is a massive. well-written review for a measly 15 minute demo. CashmereCat did you a favour, man. Get over it.
I am kinda tired to reply to the same comments over and over but the review got edited if you didn't get it (I am fine with the edited version), thanks for commenting though. ^^

Everyone keeps provoking him now u.u Not that he didn't deserve it at the start, but now it seems like overkill.
Thanks for making my day :)

Nouin, can you please leave your bullshit out of this thread?
Look, I know I'm coming across as really mean-spirited, here, but it REALLY gets on my nerve when someone completely dismisses criticism and launches a slew of petty jabs at someone else, just for the sake of protecting their own ego.
If you want to actually grow as an artist, developer, or anything of the like, you NEED to learn to handle criticism. Nobody makes something everyone will enjoy the first time around, that's why this kind of feedback exists: to steer you towards success!

What do you want from me sir?
If anything, we want you to drop this lousy attitude and be genuine with your responses. Giving a "thank you" to any feedback isn't bad, by the way, but copy-and-pasting the same message does sort of feel like you are hardly giving anyone here the time of day.
Also, we aren't here to attack you, dude. It's only natural that people would rush in to a scene where it's obvious there is a lot of discussion going on, it happens frequently here, or just about every RM community I've been to at least. It's got nothing to do with being butt-buddies with Cashmere, if that's what you were thinking (I hardly know the guy). We don't single people out for the sake of it.
I am sorry, I didn't know I should have asked you for permission to post here. Thank you for reminding me, I will PM you next time.

@Nouin
Not true, I responded in a civil manner at first, and got a sarcastic response in return. And don't tell me it wasn't sarcastic, because it was. All in all, your general tone has been to either try to make fun of someone offering their opinion, offer a sarcastic remark or spout some internet meme picture. Don't try to play the victim card here when you have only yourself to blame.
You are a very good example of how you should NOT respond to critique. I don't blame CashmereCat for asking for a second opinion here when you call his review premature, tell him he rushed it and just threw in a bunch of abstract words.
The funniest thing is you asked for the review yourself, presumably to have him tell you what a great demo it was to further inflate your ego.
See what I mean? It is even hard to reply with "thank you" because then they think you are being sarcastic... What do you want from me sir?

@alterego
This is exactly how it was. You clearly observed the situation with some empathy. I was actually disappointed on Cash's review because it was too short and it didn't cover many major things, but the review got edited later. I don't know why people started thinking I was offended? Actually Cash took it a bit personally and he invited friends to comment on his review just because I called his review a bit premature (he even admitted it himself at first though), and that's when I started to get trolled. So why not join the troll community and enjoy it to the fullest? Things got really out of control and people started reviewing my game just for the sake of trolling, you can read the reviews yourselves. But at least I try to enjoy it, and even reply to the trolls when I have time.
To cut it short, Cash is now the hero and I am the dick...that's how things roll here, I learned that much.
Lesson: Always nod to a reviewer, no matter what they say about your game, or you'll be a dick...

Dear Nouin,
Thank you very much for finally being someone who actually puts some effort and reasoning in response to a review. You acknowledged some really concrete criticisms in a way that makes me appreciate that you can work harder and get better. I hope this response will be a lesson for other developers.

Specifically, he said "Oh god, why? Why did my developer say 'People put a lot of effort in their games, and they expect them to be played correctly and reviewed correctly?' And why was there no hint of me in the game despite being named after me?" :P
