Also, there were a lot of reoccurring roles in my other Mafia game. There was a gunman on both town and Mafia side. There was a protector on both town and Mafia side. I can't remember most of the others, but for some reason, this pops out to me when I think of my old game.

In case I wasn't clear:
I will only kill the attacker if I suspect them. So since I suspected Cap last night who did not attack me and YM attacked me, because I did not suspect YM they are still alive. If I had suspected YM last night when they shot me, this morning they would have been on the deceased list. It's a rather useless ability in some ways because you're relying on random and guesses. I guess I'm still alive because it wasn't a successful shoot though.
I'm sort of new to Mafia, and very new to this type. This game has me very confused because my first Mafia game had very different roles which weren't detrimental. Also, the game was over if all the town were killed, or all the Mafia were killed. That's why I've been so confused because this game is so much different. More different than I expected. Reasons why I'm being as cautious as I can be: 1. I helped shoot Gourd off and I still feel awful about it. 2. My first game the Mafia won because my stupidass believed the last Mafia and lynched my last town member, and the Mafia ended up shooting me that night. (and I lynched off my protector -.- I was a medium)
I came in thinking it'd be mostly the same. It has me in awe that two shooters have to shoot the same person for it to be a success. I've never heard of most of the roles here. So I think it's reasonable for me to be confused in some situations.

How does this not help my cause, just out of curiosity? I suspected Cap, I got no text about you. All I know is I was attacked and they failed to do it, for some reason I'm not sure of. We just now figured out you're a gunner. You would not be dead because I did not suspect you (which I honestly had thought about doing before going after Cap a second time, silly me.) If I had suspected you and you had attacked you would be dead.
About the copying vocabulary. I just want to point out me and Ozzy chat constantly in PM almost every day for over a month now. So even if I was in chat with Mafia, it'd be likely I picked it up before then. Also, I like the sound of livid more than mad because it sounds more serious, though I'm not sure if that means anything to ya'll.

This doesn't help your cause, as it would have been pretty obvious that it was I who attacked you and I should thus be dead by now.

I'm guessing I was either protected or only one of the gunners attacked me, so, therefore, it wasn't a successful kill. Or maybe it was just flavor text, though I don't see why I'd be sent a PM about me being attacked and it just being flavor text.
