^ x2 btw :0 Yeah these were really just off-the-top-of-my-head sort of things so they're admittedly bad. But believe it or not, one of the most defining aspects of any pixel art is the outline (echoing ユヒカル)
If you're going for a comical style (which you are) then you might have everything outlined in black, or at least a dark color. Going for a more realistic style and you'd shade the outline along with the rest of the object. However even a bold outline can be shaded as you can see in my boxing glove example, which is what I think made you hate your (already good albeit two-dimensional) money bag so much.
I was a bad artist and I made the money bag look like some garlic who had too much to drink before staggering into the tattoo parlor, but yours is way better so disregard mine! XD I think the problem with the boxing gloves is that you just need more space... If it's possible, try just drawing a single one (like I did) or make the sprite itself bigger.
Judging from the impossibly rapid improvement I'd say you have some talent :>

I dunno if you were serious about leaving or not but if you want I could make you a CSS like Deus Ex's (I made that CSS a long time ago and it desperately needs some revision) but if you take me up now I'm sure I can code yours with a few special ideas I have now. :>

My gosh I have to comment on how drastically your mapping has improved this past year, honestly. The only thing that really jumps out at me is both of the front statues are facing left, but that's a pretty minute nitpick xD Also do either doors lead to a different place? Otherwise I would just make them one big door :>

Other than the black border around the part with the window. (The part to show he wall/ceiling) It throws it off because the window is so thin. It just looks like it would make a deformed looking train if looking at it from the outside. If that makes sense to you all.

Thought the dark shading on some parts would be sufficient but guess not >< The parts that are "missing" are pretty much nonexistent, that's where it stops XD But I guess if it looks unfinished I could add some more, right?
@Miracle - I really like that! The candle seem to disappear in the walls, though. And just below each candle set there is a few pixels "missing" in the decorative parts of the wall.

Also Link honestly I would start with the room structure before I start adding furniture or whatever. It's tons easier to remake a desk or chair than it is to edit the walls or ceiling (that's just me Dx) But you seem like you have a good handle on it, and it's nice to see more people making their own graphics. :>
