Dream Catcher Review
Thank you so much for your review spirit_young!
For my own curiosity's sake, any chance you can tell me which three skills you acquired when you leveled up if you can remember?
I'll be sure to address some of your issues in the next update, especially the graphical ones. My niece mentioned getting annoyed at getting stopped by bushes as well so I should take care of that. I'll make sure to also color-code the doors ala LA Noire so that you'll know whether a house is ever accessible, and I'll try to fix the forest map so that there aren't any spots that look like false exits.
Do you remember at what points during the game you were roaming around looking for the next event to continue on? I hate when that happens in games so I really want to fix that issue!
And yes, the game is pretty dialogue-heavy, and the battlesystem is not very prominent as of yet, but future installments will make more use of it.
Thanks again for your thoughts! :)

NicoB's Let's Tries/Plays! *REQUEST YOUR GAME HERE!*
I love your voice NicoB and your vids keep me thoroughly entertained. Thanks for making them!
If you are still taking requests I'd be honored if you could take on Dream Catcher at some point in the future. I would love to receive the NicoB treatment!

Dream Catcher
author=spirit_youngYes! That's a problem! As you receive it in a dream you're not supposed to still be able to use it in real life.. HAHAHA. Silly me... will make sure to fix it and update the file.
I may have found a big glitch! I found the Ultamite Water Sword and equiped it on Quaden. It rose his attack power very high and I'm killing stuff with one hit. I noticed it said the weapon wasn't real . . . but it's letting me use it!
Bob - Block Blob
Just started playing this and I've run into a bug I believe. This happens in the first level. If you push the movable blue block so that it gets stuck on a wall and you can no longer push it, even if you reset the level by dying it still continues to be stuck. I think I know the solution to this however!
I checked inside the editor and it appears that you do not have the "ignore impossible moves" checkbox tick on the pushable block, meaning that if I push the block and it gets stuck after one tile movement, even if the room is reset it'll continue pushing itself 2 more tiles automatically. Kind of a frustrating bug (hopefully not a feature!) but one that is easily solved.

I'll review Bob - Block Blob by Jpratt
(You misspelled my game btw, it's missing a "c" in the word Catcher. In case anyone had the impression that it was about catheters.. hahaha.)

Whatchu Workin' On? Tell us!
I feel the need to always have a non-RPG side project on the go, so with that in mind I started working on another puzzle game (they relax me). This time the theme is robots! I'm excited.
The Featured Game Thread
Is anyone working on a romance RPG at the moment?
I wouldn't say that I'm working on a "romance RPG" where the entire goal of the game is romance, but given that there are only 3 playable characters in my game (2 male and 1 female) I do internally track the relationship status between the two potential couples and this does affect the acquisition of skills and does result in changes to the storyline.
I just finished the first episode/installment. As this is the opening to the game you won't see many outward effects in response to the two relationships but the seeds are definitely sown for the future.
I think it's important to portray romance as a gradual process. Sure, you can have immediate relationships as a result of lust but how satisfying are those to the player? I prefer to stay a little more organic and let the player decide how the relationships unfold with character choices and actions. There's even the potential that no romance will result at all.
