LOCKEZ'S PROFILE
LockeZ
I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

[MAFIA] The Resistance: Avalon Mafia - GAME ON
If there's not a Mordred, and we waste our lynch on a gamble, we utterly deserve to lose. We KNOW who is scum. Even if Mordred exists there's no way to know for sure who it is. I say just kill him.
[MAFIA] The Resistance: Avalon Mafia - GAME ON
Ok, right, Mordred. Theoretically, there's basically a 50/50 chance whether Mordred exists, right? If we lynch psy, we have a 50% chance of winning. If we lynch anyone else, we have a 12.5% chance of winning.
Except I think three scum, not four, is the best number of scum for a 13 player game. Four would be a lot. So I think lynching psy is actually a better than 50% chance, based on that.
Also we have basically no way to tell who Mordred is so lol.
So I stand by my vote.

Day 1: Nobody relevant proposes anything.
Day 2: psy_wombats proposes a team of himself, pianotm, demonlord5000. Cancels it. Proposes another mission team of himself, OzzyTheOne, demonlord5000
Day 3: Pianotm proposes a mission team of himself, me, Yellow Magic. Cancels it. Proposes another mission team of himself, me, PlatinumAshes.
Day 4: Nobody relevant proposes anything.
So on day 1, I suggested that teams should be proposed which included the towniest person possible, plus two people who are questionable. I stated that if the mission failed, this would reveal good info to us about who in it was likely to be the cause of the failure. Obviously, after saying that out loud, I knew that scum would definitely no fail a mission under those circumstances. Self-defeating maybe?
Nah. My working theory was that scum would see my suggestion, and think, "Hey, we can make ourselves look good by putting ourselves in teams like that and then succeeding on the mission." They would then make sure to include at least one scum in every team they proposed.
Unfortunately piano and psy both freaking included themselves in every single team they proposed, so this entire secret agenda was worthless. Dammit. Oh well, in the end it doesn't really matter. We win unless Mordred exists. In which case we lose.

Yeah so I just re-read the mission results of last night and realized that PlatinumAshes is not among the players who were in the team that failed. So the only way he's fake-claiming is if there are two scum left. In which case we just straight up lose tonight no matter what.
So that's good enough for me.

So apparently, if PlatinumAshes is telling the truth, it turned out that both scum were among the people who didn't argue against me? At least I was right about that much.
Uh I'll just sit here for a little bit and wait to see what happens in case that's wrong too. Feelin' pretty good about the psy_wombats lynch though. Like, if that were a fake claim, he would go after Kylaila or demonlord5000, right? Not the person who everyone thinks is town.
Let me look over some of the mission things. My secret agenda is about to become relevant.

Yeah, I'll go ahead and move my vote to Pianotm. I'm still not convinced my theory about the failed nightkill is wrong, but if it is, then I think scum would probably not argue against it, so that someone would get mislynched. Pianotm is one of the only three people who didn't argue against it, and the other two are people I'm pretty much convinced are town.

That's one away from hammer, so nobody else vote until pianotm has a chance to chime in.

So, unless scum are idiots, I really don't think they'd be going after each other in any kind of meaningful/convincing way right now in this setup. Because if Mordred doesn't exist, then as soon as there's only one scum left, Merlin roleclaims and we win. And if Mordred does exist, then one of them is Mordred, and they lose instantly if we side with the one who isn't. They need at least two scum alive until Merlin is revealed.
This is assuming there are only two scum players left. Which seems very likely to me. If there are three scum players left then they have more breathing room. If there's only one left, then they'd better hope it's Mordred, because otherwise we already won and we just don't know it yet.

People who think my idea is bad: Gourd_Clae, PlatinumAshes, Kylaila, demonlord5000, Cap_H
People who have not said they think it's bad: psy_wombats, pianotm, OzzyTheOne
If I'm wrong, then I think at least one scum is probably in the second group. And it's probably pianotm.

author=Kylailaauthor=LockeZIs there someone responsible for nightkills? Like, I have no idea how scum organizes themselves there. (i just know the pointing from IRL stuff). That'd of course mess things up.
I mean, he's absolutely right that he would post a nightkill first though, if he realized we were one vote from hammer. If he's scum then my theory is he either wasn't the one responsible for night kills, or didn't realize the vote count until it was too late.
No idea. But the two standard ways of handling nightkills that I know of are either "scum votes on a target to kill in their private chat" or "one scum is responsible for deciding nightkills, and that power goes to the next scum if they die." The latter method is more common in most places where people play mafia; I think I've only ever seen the former method on RMN.
