What do I put in my castle courtyard?
...Yeah I'm also sorry, I'm a bit short-tempered today. Thank you for the advice, I'll see what I can do with it.

Working on a big castle in Rm2k. Up until now I've always made my castles small, and I really wanted to pimp out once. So I made a pretty big ass castle with lots of towers, big walls, a gladiator-like arena, stables, a flower garden, a big ass fountain, blacksmith, armorer, and marketplace.
And still not done yet. I love making big maps.

Right, I'll just make a huge empty courtyard with nothing but brick floor and some NPC's aimlessly wandering around saying random crap.

If your advice is ignorant and dumb I don't need your help and you can save us both the time.
A garden maze is actually a pretty good idea, but I don't think I can make it large enough for it to be actually fun. So I guess I'll just stick to a decorative garden.

Hi guys,
I'm making a castle in Rm2k, but I have some open space left in the courtyard which I need to fill up. And I don't know with what, so I need ideas.
Things I already have:
- A training spot for soldiers to spar and practice
- Stables
- A fountain
I still have a good portion of space left and it just looks awkward, so it needs to be filled up.
Things I don't want:
- Inn
- Pub
- Equipment / item shops
- Civillian houses
I see this a lot in castles in RPG Maker games, but in my opinion it makes no sense to have shops in a castle courtyard where nobody is ever going to buy anything.
Ideas?
