The sad thing is, you can do this for years without realizing it (or, more likely, your tastes have changed since you started).
Agh, this is the worst feeling! ;w; I usually just push through and tell myself I can change it later when everything's done or that someone is bound to like it.

Haha! Glad I'm not alone in this. It feels like such a waste of time when you're feeling that X doesn't work or look good to just undo it all.
But I did. Otherwise it would bother me when play testing. :P

^ Every once in a while I look through some of my old text documents and I'm like "why did I stop/never actually start this?".
But yeah, trying to settle on a project that's within my capabilities while still being something I'm actually interested in doing has been stalling me for years now. I think I may have settled on something, but the last several times I said that to myself I ended up abandoning it, so...

For Nakaishi Wars, it was kinda this, but at the middle of development, if not near the end of it. Maybe it was more frustration about the limits of GTBS? I dunno. I definitely feel like I could probably do more there, but, on the other hand, Darigaaz, I am SO DONE trying to make that game.
