To go into further detail...
The Green bar is stamina, which refills quickly every 3.5 seconds.
To toggle different Orb techniques simply press shift.
To use Orb Techs you press confirm key.
(Since the confirm key is used, you wont be able to open dialog with NPCs unless you have the chat orb toggled. ((Lynn's Foresight targets hidden paths.)))

Excellent question!
There are different dots on the WM some of which are zones where you can have these types of events. The further you go through the game the more dialog will be offered.
Also, if you missed out on a piece of info/scene from before: the game remembers which conversation you left off at and will add the new information along with the old to make realistic dialog.

After waking up one morning to Beyblade being on my TV,

Two completely different games. It isn't just the title that's changed.
It isn't a recent change either. AoA has been in dev for awhile now.
I just haven't had a chance to come update it on this site.
