how have this many people on a gosh danged games forum not played a freaking breath of fire game
In my defense I was in second grade when the last game of the series came out. I'm reading a wiki article to educate myself right now.

I think it's because 'color' is set to black. Not sure though. My html is kinda rusty :p
Actually I want the text color to be black, that's why its set as that! I set it to purple earlier when I was messing around and now it won't change to any other color. And I've tried setting it to other colors that aren't black as well...

Anyway I wanted to mess around for the first time with css for my game page but I screwed up somewhere and now all the text's this hard to read purple color and no matter what I enter into the profile customization box it stays the same.
This is what I currently have entered into the box:

Hmmm...it caused an error dialogue saying like "The 2003 RTP is not present" when I started it.
I took it into my head to add "FullPackageFlag=1" to the bottom of the rpg_rt.ini, then it ran. But, it seems like some sounds fall silent.
My favorite character is Ellie. She is sooo scary...
Haha whoops, my bad. Should be fixed now.
Ellie is actually my favorite character too, though I think she would intimidate me too much in real life for us to be friends.

I'm using win7 too but this game works fine. Are you sure that you unzip the game-folder before starting it?
Zipped-games must be unzipped before starting, though this is a matter of course... I forget it once a while and get an error! lol
Win7 can seek the zipped-files seamlessly without unzipping, so this feature sometimes confuses people a zipped file as a normal file.
Galaxy read this, it might help ^^^^^

I have enjoyed this game a lot!
Although this is a simple, short, light adventure, yet your senses and colorful artworks make it charming.
I like your dot sprites and arts, including the bonuses hehe ;P Especially, the picture that Mia looks up the sky is nice.
Little spoiler:
I think it's a most unfortunate thing of this game that CiCi and Lillie haven't been so active in the whole storyline. They are like able bodyguards who punch the monsters out of Mia's way :D

It is a shame as they really are great characters, I simply didn't have enough time due to the restrictions of the IMGC limitations. (Though in the unabridged version they get a couple extra lines of dialogue.) Perhaps I will one day make a spin off focusing them. (Maybe Cici's band goes on tour and Ellie tags along and they uncover a sinister plot and they have to punch a bunch of demons or something idk)
How are things going for the MOG events?
I completed a graphics pack so I probably won't do anything more for that event. I want to do more for the music event (i've made like two terrible songs) but ... college.

I don't know that contest page. I simply followed this page's "Downloads" and downloaded "Scaredy Cat.zip(Uploaded: 2014-08-06 07:48:56)" from mediafire.
The archive didn't contain the read-me file but I didn't much care about it and started the game. I'm enjoying it anyway.
I'm glad you're enjoying the game! That is weird though that it is missing stuff. I must have uploaded the wrong file I'll have to fix it.
