Well, on the subject of the assassin not killing a Protector of the Tenkai: the assassin may not be killing the Protector and going for the Tenkai instead because, well, think about it: if the assassin targets the Tenkai, the Protector dies instead. Meaning the Protector's out of the way and now the assassin will know the Tenkai is the person they targeted. So it's smart to leave the Protector alive.
Err maybe my logic's been scrambled from drawing drapes for 5 hours straight but if the assassin targeted the tenkai and the protector was dead wouldn't the tenkai star just die, thus fulfilling his goal??
I don't see how it would be beneficial to keep the protector around. Not that it really be useful to kill them immediately because then the assassin would just be wasting a night kill.
TLDR: piano may be suspicious but I don't think the fact that he's alive seals his guilt.

Gourd got the same message as PA and was talking about it before CAVE said anything.
Nope! Gourd mentioned that his actions led him to believe that it was Jeron after CAVE mentioned the PM.

Easy: CAVE never got a pm saying Jeroen is bad.
Wait but didn't CAVE post about this before PA. Wouldn't it be highly unlikely that he'd get a perfect match with what PA got. And I don't think PA and Gourd are lying...
Everything else about CAVE reads as to suspicious to me tho

1) His style reminds me of Isrieri's from the previous game.
I was actually just about to make a post about this. He does seem to be playing similarity to Isrieri, taking the lead in the scum hunt, directing the conversation and making tons of accusations.

I can see the assassin having multiple powers, but me being a roleblocker and a thief makes no sense whatsoever.

If Jeroen isn't the assassin is it possible that he is the thief? That might explain Liberty's PM to Cave warning him not to trust him.
Cave's really making my head spin, I think he's claimed to be assassin, tenkai and town this entire game and has been making tons and tons of accusations. And maybe he is telling the truth and thought that he was the assassin and then realized that he wasn't but how do you screw that up?
Also Gourd are you and PA aware of each others alignments? I know mason's usually do but last game Marrend and I were masons but didn't know each others alignments. Also I'm still confused about the blue goop. If it was a kindness drop scroll why did someone use it on you? If it doesn't protect, just cures negative affect why would someone waste it?
