I wasn't even going to comment before I saw this. Why exactly was SnowOwl warned for his previous post? He defended it with stats that seem to prove it, so at this point you're arguing that reality is racist.

I'll explain here, champ.
He did not defend it with stats, he cherry-picked stats to prove his agenda while ignoring 95% of information from his "sources" that would disprove him. Not only that, his statements either ignore the context of the questions asked or any determining political factors, or are flat out false. Want proof, here we go.

Source 1 - WorldPublicOpinion.

Source 2 - ICM.
Article is behind a pay wall, SnowOwl is using a sensationalist headline as a source. I'm not going to begin to explain how stupid this is.

Source 3 - Palestinian Center for Political Research.
This is a whole nother topic for a whole nother thread. Israel and Palestine have issues, long standing and complicated issues. This is the stupidest fucking thing I've seen in a while, it's impossible to use Palestine's views towards Israel as being representative of all Muslims.

Source 4 - BBC Radio 4.
Again SnowOwl has ignored the vast majority of information in favour of the one result that supports him. I'll cherry pick here too, 85% percent of Muslims do not feel sympathetic towards those who fight against the west. Even the figure he used doesn't say what he thinks it does.

Source 5 - Pew Research
This is where he flat out lies. "Worldwide". This is a study representing Muslims in 11 different republics. 11. Eleven. The article is there, go read it. Despite SnowOwl somehow thinking that this research somehow this proves his point, once again it shows that the vast majority of Muslims are concerned with extremism and do not support terrorist organisations (the outliers being Hamas and Hezbollah, see my earlier point regarding Israel).

Not only that, "Muslim" is not a race, Solitayre. Criticism of the Muslim community and/or religion is not racism. Calling someone a racist is always easier than actually arguing against them, though! He cited about 5 reliable sources for his claim, you 0.

On reflection it seems that his "5 reliable sources", aren't all that reliable for him after all. Anybody with any level of reading comprehension can plainly see that they completely contradict his viewpoint and only a complete fucking idiot would use them to prove that Muslims are terrorists or whatever shit he said.

I question this threads existence in the first place as I have no idea what Corfaisus would want to discuss.

Condolences to the friends/families/acquaintances of anyone affected by this tragedy.

I don't understand why you can question Corfaisus' motives in creating a thread surrounding a major political event, yet can say SnowOwl has done nothing wrong in hijacking the thread to push his own mindless agenda.

SnowOwl has either deliberately or negligently ignored parts of the study, which came off the back of the Bush era so cannot speak for the current situation, to paint the majority of muslims as terrorist sympathizers. He's missed so many of the contextual factors of the study, I'm seriously questioning whether he's read it or has simply pulled out what he feels supports his own warped views.

So yeah, he's doing nothing wrong alright /s
