It was this or Roman deathgrip challenge; it's a way to develop one of the aspects of Corinth's personality.
Atonement: Scourge of Time
This looks really neat, and would my game not have been made with RM2k3, I would've went this route graphically.
Large Numbers!!!!
For making my own games, I've always used small numbers, part of which may be influenced by some of my favorite games (Baldur's Gate for example) and partially because I've found it a little easier to manipulate the system to do what you want and eliminate so much volatility.

I like that the formation of the battle characters is not a line formation, but is a more realistic diamond shape.
I am doing something similar in my own game. To be honest, I wish RM2k3 had a little more control in terms of how this would affect damage, if the enemy would be able to attack a character within a certain formation, and giving the player the power to build formation but, unfortunately it's not available. =(

How were you able to get the fog around the ship to look so good? Granted I am using RM2k3 and am not a gradient expert, but I've struggled to get the same type of effect for waterfalls...

I figured the chains, since this is fantasy, help to make Odoacer look more villainous/tyannical (since I am depicting him as such for purposes of this game).
I could remove the chains. Also, they are chained to the back wall, which is why they reach so far back. This could be easily edited in order to chain to the wall closer.
As far as sprites, yes they're all based on PS4 sprites - they were the most proportional sprites I found that were in the 32 pixel spectrum
