I'm Ben_Random. I've been around since 2008 but I didn't really get active here since Super RMN Bros. 2. That, an unfinished game, and a couple of contests sums up what I've done with game making on this site. I find that my main purpose here is writing. I have a few tutorials out there, as well as some reviews on Mario fan games such as RMN Bros. or Mario V.S. the Moon Base.
Now with the internet the way it is these days, you can probably use just this information to stalk me.

Yeah, I gotta' agree with ya both.
The top and bottom, although not bad, look weird.
The middle one come out good though!
Maybe just fool around with them some more, maybe try to make them not so pixelated?
Tougher than it sounds, I'm sure.
I could do it in photo shop, although with my skills it could take time.
I wonder if someone would be able to take the graphics that I made already, and make them less...bad.
Edit: I decided that the pixelated graphics would be fine so I am going to use them in my game. Unless anyone else can help. (Hint Hint).

If you don't find anyone, you could always try to work something out for yourself.
Like bloat up the robot chars face, and try to copy them in MS paint or something.
Or just use the bloated version itself.
I'm sure this won't look spectacular, but it's always a option.
Edit: I got impatient and decided to try it already. Before I go any further, I want to know if these look good:

I agree. The eyes look akward and big. This is really not what I was hoping for. I wanted more of a diagonal look, but I just don't have the gfx skills.

Wow that might actually be hard to find... unless your willing to settle for something that shows likeness but is not exact. I hope you are able to find it, good luck
Thanks. I know, I was thinking someone with GREAT gfx skills could make them. There are only four different designs after all, they are just different colors.

I'm just bored and want to play levels instead of making levels. There's not that many good SMBX games out. Probably at 3 if that. Its been a while since I've played Double Trouble, but I remember the level being tollerable. I'm putting it in Retro or Panic Land. Which are #7 & 8.
I'll be making a new trailer for Sky & Iceland now.
How many lands will there be?
I really do want to give you the double trouble update. Unfortunately it won't be until tommorow that I can give it to you. What time might you be finished?

Some levels are different yes. Some are different due to having Ludvig too much or half assery with level design.
I changed it. This is all my doing. These aren't trailers, just previews as I'm making my version of the game. Chances are my version will become official.
I also changed the checkpoint graveyard back to no boos.
PS. The whole star thing is a pain, but that's the flaw of the game design. I post stars next to worlds so you know they clearly belong to the level. However, when you beat the level it doesn't make the star appear, unless the star is 1 tile away. The map kinda looks ugly.

However, if GRS has worked so hard on the game I don't know that he would throw away his version even if it's not as good as yours.
Also: Some of my levels were rejected. Ex. Double Trouble. I was notifyed via PM. I fixed double trouble and was proud of the improvements. I guess I will PM you the update of it.

Hello folks, I posted this same thread in Help and Requests but received no help, so I am moving it here.
I am working on a game and there are robots. {Yes, Futuristic VX game.}
I found these sprites in the recourse museum:
I would really like face graphics for them. Credit will certainly be given.
As you can see, one of the robots is multi colored:
Only one color is needed, whichever works best.

Sane/Insane Meter Script

Hello RMN! I've recently been working on a new project and I was wondering if a script survives out there that shows a meter to keep track of your sanity. Basically, if the character's sanity meter fills up, they become insane and certain effects appear. I'm hardly good with scripts but I'm willing to give it a try!
I don't know a thing about scripting, but I will try to help. There are several scripts out there which work with a STAMINA meter. I imagine it would take some very simple edits to change the name and effects of it. Also, if a sanity meter was to fill up, it would mean you are completely sane. Make it an INSANITY meter instead, that way if it fills up, it will mean you are totally insane.
