Just another ex-gaming industry hopeful, going to school and learning as much as I can. I don't think making a game will directly affect my chances of getting a job, but it will teach me the process as well as organization, something I sorely lack. I'm no longer working for Zynga, which is too bad.
What else? I like Japanese food and cinema (but I'm not an otaku), CRPGs (of course), electronic music (90's Industrial FTW), Belgian ales, meat cooked over fire, 420, CGI, 3D animation, cats, SNES, subversive or black comedy, dystopian sci-fi, and any epic fantasy brave enough to step out of the Tolkien shadow.
My dislikes include all forms of bigotry, country music, fast food, factory farms, multinational corporations, warfare, social networking, romantic comedies (in general), and politics.

There was a great one I played a while back called Sunset Over Imdahl. You could probably Google it.

   Once I finish Samiel's logo, I'll be able to set something up with you. My only caveat is that between work, school, and my own game, there's only so much time I can invest in this. But this is great practice work, and I'll try to get it done as soon as I can.

   Okay, I'm working on the wings now. While I'm at it, I'll show you my concept, along with the variation that includes the banner.
   As far as the wing design, I made it before you asked me to make it less flame-like. It's still going through the revision phase. The image on the left includes all the elements of the original. I shifted the wings up for a reason I'll explain in a moment. The one in the middle includes the banner at the bottom the left side is a bit mangled, but you get the general idea.
   Now, the image on the right shows the basic structure of the middle concept. As you can see, THE SECRET and the banner form a ring around SOCIETY and the crossed swords. I shifted the pivot of the wings in order to take advantage of this ring layout. Even without the banner at the bottom, the wing placement still works.
   Hopefully you can come up with a slogan to put into it.
