Thoughts of a new storyline.
If there is going to be a plot twist, DO NOT make it obvious. It ruins the whole effect of the "plot twist".
Also, try to distinguish the characters. Don't just make them spout info, make them express their own opinions! (I mean, i'm sure a talking dragon is going to have some sort of lisp, right?)
Make the characters have a reason to save the world. It can't be "Oh, this guy told me too". No. If he killed all the protaginist's family and destroyed half a continent, then yes, do that.

A "Cover" ability?
Yes....well....i was wondering, is it possible to do a Cover ability, like in the SNES era of Final Fantasy.
You know....
"RANDOM HERO selects Cover."
"Enemy attacks"
"RANDOM HERO takes damage for ally"
Would this be possible to do in 2K3? Because i am clueless when it comes to re-allocating enemy attacks.

I'm drawing rtp emotions and all that stuff and painstalkingly waiting for rhyme so I would know if I should touch the database at all or not.

Thanks for the feedback! Yeah, i was considering remodeling some areas, like the forests.
As for the rounded corners, that's just because the ocean tiles make it look sharper. The other one that actually looks GOOD is not animated, so i'm stuck with this for a while.
Well, you wouldn't expect the continent to be strainght land, right? The islands make it looks a lot less blobby.
One heck of a thing i'm going to have trouble with, is the fact that so many towns means i'll have trouble proceeding the story if you simply AVOID the storyline towns.
