And you will read this review

Chivi-chivik played: Project1

So, I was surfing the net and I decided to give RMN a look, again, without getting involved with it at all. I checked my notices (I found nothing relevant today) I checked the buzzing games, etc. etc. And I noticed this game was in the highly rated games. At first I was like "Damn, another cliché game that has taken the heart of somebody easy to fool", but why the heck it's called Project1? I also noticed it got a new review today. After reading most of the reviews, I decided to give it a try.
And now that I've played it, I felt like it deserved yet another review. And now you'll read it... unless you close this tab, or unless it goes denied by the staff.
Also, I tell to myself: what's "plagiarism", anyway?

Gameplay
This is a game that plays like a visual novel, but there's a little gameplay that serves to the "story" it tries to tell. But it still plays like the visual novel it is.

Sorry man, but I've always used the Z button.

Graphics
This is a game for a RPG Maker MV contest, so it's normal that... No. We can't talk about "using default graphics because you don't have anything else/because you can't draw as fast" here. The graphics also serve to the "story". Let's move onto the next part, staying here is pointless.

Music
Same as above, different art field.

Technical stuff and the like
At last, a category that truly applies. Everything worked well, everything was well evented, no problems here.

"Story"

This is you, CashmereCat, this is me, this is whoever's reading this, this is... Fiction's a difficult bitch.

HERE'S where the heavy stuff is.
Whoever hasn't played the game yet might wonder why I've put quotation marks around "story". It's kinda obvious: this game's the most meta RPG Maker game to ever meta, and to call its "story" <<story>> doesn't sound correct to me. Meta stuff isn't fiction, and even if non-fiction works contain stories...
...
Where I was going with this?
Oh yes, this game uses the meta concept AMAZINGLY. I didn't expect something like that when I opened the game. I expected meta, but not mega-meta, because we all know most meta is predictable meta or typical 4th wall-breaking.
Actually, it's so meta I could stay here, writing an essay instead of a review, detailing what I think CashmereCat wanted to convey with this game, how it impacted me, telling all what was worth of noting, etc. Heck, I could do this with every game I play, but that's academical bullshit and spoilery crap, so no. I'm too simple for that. Also, CashmereCat tells you right off the bat what he wants to tell you. I think, I've got a very bad memory. I'll end this part saying that its "story" is good as heck and might hit home for some people. Did it hit my sensitive spot? Maybe yes, maybe not. I'll leave that to your interpretation.

Overall
So, this is the conclusion, or the TL;DR. It's supposed to be short, so let's get to the point: Go play this game, it's good. Learn one thing or two from it. Read between lines if you want. Connect with the developer or not, depends on the person. Recommend it or not. Whatever.

But, do I recommend it? Of course, haven't you noticed I said "Go play this game, it's good" and "its "story" is good as heck"? Didn't I tell you to read between lines? Oh, true, that was right there and I told you you could read between lines if you wanted. My bad.

And now I tell to myself: Heck, plagiarism is bad, but not when you want to pay an homage.
...
The heck's an homage?

Oh wow. I thought I'd already replied to this doozy of a review but... turns out I faked out, and played myself. I'd just like to give a huge shout of praise for this review. Thanks for acknowledging its surprising contents without spoiling them. Thanks for playing through its crazy weird self-inverted meta-maze. Thanks for playing in the first place! Every time I read any little thing about my game I have to feel super grateful that somebody would even like it and pay attention to it. I hope it made your mind soar into weird, wonderful, thought-provoking places. And I hope we might even become friends in the future. Always feel free to approach me. Much love from a small, insignificant, silly little CAT who is loved much more than he deserves.

Oh man, you deserve a lot. A lot of good things, of course XD
Your game definitely made me think about games in general, it's a real analysis of game structure and narrative. It should be a must-play for amateur makers. :)
