How about varying it up a bit more? You know, making the areas different in some way - graphically different and more interesting? That ground tile hurts the eyes a bit - it's way to bright - and it looks pretty boring all up. I couldn't imagine playing a game like this for long...

This is only the first area, and I like the bright colors. All the areas will look different though. And I'm sorry this doesn't seem like a game for you, but before I even started making this I knew that not everyone was going to enjoy it. :D Thanks for your opinion, it does mean a lot to me.
