Gameplay Elements
There are a total of 3 main gameplay elements required for plot progression.
Turn-Based Battle (Front View) (Brains)
Court Trial (Brains)
Have you ever played Danganronpa? If you had, this might be familiar to you as this game element is inspired by it.
Court Trial comes with 5 different type of 'Phases' with each phase that comes with different elements (Or mini games if you may)...
All requires you to think and deduce which is the accurate one.
The Phases are as follows according to difficulty:
Level 1 means a no brainer puzzle.
Level 5 means you better bang your head against the wall and hope that you get it right. (I'm not joking)
(Don't worry, in my 2 cases so far there are no level 5, there are only a few level 4.)
By the way, the phases aren't just limited to court trial only. They are also highly applicable in game play and can even influence the death of a party member :D
Note: This is still a little unpolished so I'll need some help on how I can improve it :D
Action Battle Phase (Resistance to epilepsy seizures is a requirement)
This game mode is a very simplified due to it being FULLY EVENTED!
That's right, a fully evented ABS which requires me to bang my head against the plastic wall several times to get it right. (Just Joking ;))
I should start of by saying that since this is evented, this means that it requires
a high complex level of eventing which also equates to bugs.I'm still in the process
of trying to simplify my events a little to make it easier to spot bugs.
Done :D It is now simplified into 1 event in an easy and understandable code instead of tons of common events running in the background.
But the main bulk of this game play element can only be found in chapter 3 and 7
(Which is the middle and end chapter) and a couple of boss battles only, so don't expect too much out of this!
(Though I'll try to make it as challenging and interesting as possible.)
