Know Thy Enemy.

-Excerpt from 'Encyclopaedia Bestarium Compendium-Chapter IV'

...One of the most fundamental aspects of warfare is 'know thy enemy'. Individual combat against beasts is no different. In this chapter we examine the common classifications and manner of monsters and how to best them. Please keep in mind that these are general guidelines, and many a hunter has learned about exceptions in a fatal manner!

Humanoids: While not a monster in the technical sense (although some philosophers may disagree), you may cross swords with your fellow man almost as frequently as with a feral beast. In these scenarios, humanoids have the widest variety in strengths, weaknesses, and vulnerabilities. Blinding warriors, hexing mages, to stunning quick warriors is effective, but poison remains the universally reliable method of whittling down human foes across the board.

Beasts: Any fauna of the field, from wolves, to bears, to their more threatening, monstrous counterparts. Beast monsters usually share a common fear of fire, (although different subspecies may differ), and lacking in higher reasoning, fall prey to befuddlement or blindness. Beasts can bring much power to bear, often instinctively targeting their weakest quarry, but can be easily outwitted.

Dragonoids: While usually associated with higher genus dragons, the dragonoid family can also be assigned to most lesser reptillian based monsters. While fearsome (especially higher dragons with their breath attacks), with many subspecies possessing thick, hard scales that resists direct assault, many dragonoids have an extreme aversion to lower temperatures, and a simple nervous system lends itself to easily being stunned. Be wary however of the incredible diversity in the elemental distribution of higher dragons, however.

These are only a scant few of the various types of foes and monsters that exist in our world. Later chapters discuss and break down other subsets such as Ether monsters, Armored beasts, and Automata...
IS THIS A LEARNING HOUSE?

edit: "Blinding warriors, hexing mages, to stunning quick warriors is effective"

I feel, it's too long to be read at once. I would divide it in several smaller texts, you can open individually or introduce pages and make you list between them.
