CloseThis is going to be a pretty short topic, but, well, I need some input/opinions.
In a month or so, I am going to do an EXIT FATE Let's Play. If you don't know what Exit Fate is, check it out here. In short, it's a free Suikoden-inspired game made in RPGMaker XP, and it's completely awesome.
I plan on doing the LP with lots of audience participation (it is a Let's Play, after all!). You guys would pick my teams, choose my window set, tell me who to interview, force me to replay old war battles, etc. I need to know if you WOULD do this. You see, it's no fun if you RMNers don't force me to use the worst characters and the ugliest window graphics. So, would you? WOULD YOU?
The LP itself would work mostly with screenshots and me narrating them in posts. Boss and war battles would be both screencap'd and recorded/uploaded to Youtube. On top of this, would you all (this is mostly for people who know how a Suikoden game works) be interested in me recording conversations with every character in my castle periodically? Otherwise, I'd just screenshot the best lines. I would also record the one scene ~midgame that makes me tear up (there are several, but THIS ONE in the arc really knsflksangklnasglknsad) because the music fits so well.
So, you interested? Please, no spoilers about the game. We don't want to ruin it for people who haven't played it yet, as it's a truly wonderful story.
No, Griever's not pretty (and she is currently reminding me of the ending to Last Scenario...) but she is a terrific character, both as a tank and, well... you'll see in the LP.

An LP would be cool, but they take a lot of time and effort to do (with any degree of quality). It doesn't matter if anybody would follow it, you should make sure you can do it first. Do a couple updates, see what works and what doesn't and if you can endure an RPG LP. RPG LPs will take a long time to do due to their length. I did a LP of Destiny of an Emperor and that was over 2000 screenshots (although in retrospect I could've cut a fair number of them, especially early on)
First off, the screen: It's 157kb, and when you're likely to have a couple dozen per page at least, you should try and make them smaller for space and bandwidth. In this case, make it an 8-bit PNG or a JPG with decent quality and see which has the better quality:filesize trade off.
How are you capturing screens? Irfanview can automatically copy the active window sans borders+title with a global hotkey so if you aren't using it, I'd suggest you download it and try it out. It also has batch operations like convert to a different format, crop, and resize if you ever need them.

Aye, aye Sirrah from me. I'd love to see more (good) RM games getting LP'd. And EF is a great choice despite its length.
I would love to see you do this since I was not man enough to finish this myself. I am truly terrible at RPGs.

Oh, I'd be recruiting everybody. Fitch is, like, the easiest one to get, too.
GRS: I was going to use Fraps, but the resizing sounds nice. I'll try it out. Thanks for the tip about the size, too - that would get big pretty fast, yeah. I'll also need to screencap every character's face for the HERE'S THE ROSTER/relationship list too so that people would know who's available and laugh at Yan Angwa's hatred of Meiko.
I think the hardest part of the LP would be dealing with people giving me bad-yet-hilarious characters like Shadfork ("My hugeness is perfection!"), Teej (heavy metal guitarist/vocalist) and King (dog that looks like he is humping enemies and is about 5% the coolness of Klaus von Lichtenstein (a cat and top-tier character)).
Here is an image of horrible, horrible characters you guys would likely make me use (although Tiffany is actually a good mage, especially if you pair her with the extremely mediocre Teej, due to their mutual A relationship).

We wouldn't always give you the worst characters. Plus you could also make a rule: No reusing characters until everybody available has been used. Plus this means we can cycle through more characters, even the unpopular ones!

EDIT: Except for the pure cycling part. What I have been thinking about doing is a lax "vote for a few people between story posts" and I'll keep a list. From that list, I'll try my best to pick a fairly balanced party. If I have to, I'll nab a random tank/fighter/ranger/mage (whichever I need) and throw them in. I'll do a more organized sign-up for the three-party dungeon, and I plan on recording available relationships so that people can request groups of people who like (or hate) each other to fight at once.

The cat turns out to be one of the best characters in the game, and has a mutual A relation (re: good stat+ boost) with one of the best tanks (the lovely woman in the OP).
So yeah. Would you guys participate in this? (Also, for clarification of Karsu's post, Griever is the lady in the OP. We may or may not love this game a lot.)
(And yes, I know that dungeon is the ugliest dungeon in the game (which normally looks good) but still, Sef is face-punchingly great at times.)
I'm guessing his relations are useful, though... except iirc he has two Fs with Marcello and Shin. Blurg.

Exit Fate technically isn't a jRPG. The author is from the Netherlands and all the facesets are original art.
