NES version of "Left 4 Dead" Topic

This guy on Youtube is singlehandedly (that's right, all by his lonesome) making an NES version of Valve's "Left 4 Dead."

I'm not sure how well-known this is to everyone, so I thought I'd share some gameplay videos with you that I found...

...So, yeah. He's making it with the idea in mind that this is how the game would have looked, sounded, and played if it were to be released during the golden days of the Nintendo Entertainment System. I'm pleased with what I've seen. =) He's also said that all five special zombies will be in the game...and, yeah, the witch is still one tough bitch. =P

I've also read somewhere that it's going to be finished and availaable for (free) download sometime in January.

I know, right?! To be honest, I'm probably going to end up enjoying this more than the actual game. =P

I mean, I'm not a hardcore "Left 4 Dead" fan, but I AM a pretty big zombie-game fan.

I read about thsi some time ago on RPS. I have to admit it's a cool idea but the gameplay trailer does look like one of those really, really bad games from the NES era.

This sure is nostalgic, it reminds me of those licensed nintendo games that actually had barely anything in common with the source material.

Edit: The second video isnt bad though.
