Bloons TD 4 is the best Flash game I have played... in a long time, if not ever. Seriously. It's the bloon-popping best.

It's a tower defense game where you place monkeys throwing darts and boomerangs, monkeys flying planes, monkeys in pirate ships, monkeys leading governments... it's also fun and sometimes nail-biting on Medium, and balls-to-the-wall amazing on Hard.
Best Flash TD game imho.
I'm currently trying to get all six gold medals, and have three (the first, third and fourth stages... haven't bothered to return to the second yet). Mission of the moment: DEFEAT THE ADVANCED STAGE ON MEDIUM. I - It's a bitch. Hold me, Ark. :<

I'm working on it now. I think I've got it. (I have a save on round 30 with phat $$$)
EDIT: I fucking love corrosive glue. Anything it touches crawls along in an insanely slow and harmless MARCH OF DEATH.

I just blew $2500 on fucking road tacks.
What kills ceramic bloons really really fast? :<

i usually set mine up with about 5 mortars all bombarding the entrance, to really ween the numbers down and weaken the oncoming bloons. Then, I'll stack like 5-10 fire wheels around the entrance. most of the bloons don't even make it onscreen.
i was just fucking around on the beginner track on easy the other day, and i had 8 super monkeys with the plasma vision, about 15-20 mortars (all maxed out), and fire wheels and arctic winds all around every inch of the track. oh, and i had like 10 banana republics because i hadn't unlocked the research facility yet.
all this lasted, without any of my intervention in the final setup, for a total of 86 rounds. god that was fun.

Actually, Craze, I'll agree with this. When I found this game on Newgrounds a few days ago, I played it for about 4 or 5 hours.
While I haven't had the interest in playing it again, I will vouch for it and say it's pretty fun. =D
I'm not sure why, but I never used the mortars. After made one to see what it did then I never used it again. I like the boomerang/glaive/lightsaber throwing monkeys. =D

This game has consumed me as well. Things got really crazy when I continued to play in free mode and got up to stage 90. RBE was like 40k at that point, and my computer couldn't really handle it. Had 11 Banana Researches, 6 or 7 sun gods, ample lightsaber throwers and anti-air missiles. I wanna try apocalypse mode today.
As far as getting rid of ceramic bloons goes, I always have an ice tower somewhere. When they start getting frozen, then I drop pineapple bombs. The rest of the towers then do the cleanup.

Anything that can't pop frozen bloons is useless to me. I just put freeze towers everywhere, both fireblasters at corners, lightsaber throwers for spread damage, and triple mortars that I can adjust to do damage or clean up. Haven't ranked up for sun gods yet, but I'm sure that'll be part of my arsenal.
@Craze: JUST finished level 2 on hard. I lol'ed at your stage 74 setup, I hadn't ever thought to lay down so many spikes/glue.
