How do i make a demo of my game?

If so how do i do it, how do i limit content?

tardis stop posting stupid facepalm images that do nothing to contribute at all
As for the question you just release it as it is. Or copy your project and make it end somewhere. I guess it's hard to elaborate on this, but there's no 'demo' option of any kind for RM.

Maybe we should have a master rm FAQ topic here.
As for demos, just make an event that returns to the title screen on the last map you made and zip it and upload it here.

If your game is complete and you want a demo to entice people into playing the full game, simply copy the game's folder, rename it to PROJECT NAME - demo or whatever, and add in an event at the point in the game you want the demo to end. Thank the player for playing (or whatever) and give him a gameover, or return to title screen. Remember to remove that event in the full version of the game.
If all you have of the game is a bit you want to release as a demo, add an event at the end of it, doing the same thing as above, zip it up as is, and rename it to PROJECT NAME - demo. Again, remember to remove the event in the full version.

Its a much better idea to release everything you've completed. There is no sense in artificially making a demo of a game that you're going to give away for free.

I see.
Thanks!
Thanks everyone for the ideas.
@Kentona, the reason i was asking, i is so i can give bit of my game, and get ideas and opinions to improve.
So i don't know if that would've counted as a demo?
I wasn't really talking as a DEMO itself like most game makers do.
Is more like test it and let me know what needs to be changed and ideas and whatnot!
But thanks everyone once again!
