I got a tablet the other day, and thought i'd test it out :)

Can somebody tell me the difference between Photoshop and Gimp (except the prize)? One dude at school once told me that there's no difference, but I don't believe him.

There is a difference, photoshop is better. The pixels are more defined(i don't think that's the right word but..), so you can make lines appear smoother. I used to use gimp and i recently got photoshop, but to be honest, there isn't much of a noticable difference unless you really know what you're doing, and then you find that photoshop has features to make your work look better that gimp doesn't.
Saying that, gimp has features that photoshop doesn't as well.
I personally find that my work would look pretty much the same no matter which i was using, but professionals will prefer photoshop.

Thank gawd I am no professional and my ''artworks'' look like crap. But I used Paint before and so Gimp is awesome to me! =-D

It's not christmassy or anything, and it was sort of rushed, and the hands are a bit rubbish, but im happy with it
