Set a switch at the end of the event, go to the next page and make the condition a switch there. Wow. It's been years and years since someone mentioned that.
thank you, this game rules it has a fun interface. I tried doing what you said but i dont know if i did it right. Instead i put the even on another map and warped. I had the same problem with an NPC, so i made him disappear.
I will try your method again.
The switch at the end of the string is ON right?
Next page i turn off?
I tried this i swear and it did not work will try again unless you say otherwise

No, why would you turn the switch off? The idea is that:
IF switch1 is ON
then the event will not repeat itself. That is what you want to happen. When you turn the switch on, the second page takes precedence and does not repeat the event. Unless RPG Maker 2 is VASTLY DIFFERENT from all other RPGMakers this is pretty much the simplest problem ever.
The auto run event will keep AUTO RUNNING until it AUTO RUNS into a switch that stops itself. If you turn off that switch, then the event will have no obstacle in its way and will continue auto running.
I... I can't even comprehend how this is confusing
unless like I said RM2 is absolutely nonsensical
edit: If you are running a hose and you put your finger in the hose (which is like turning the switch on), water stops coming out. That is what is happening here. If you take your finger out of the hose (which is like turning the switch off) then water resumes its flow.
