SUBSCRIPTIONS. CAN THEY DO MORE?

RMN 3 still continues to amaze me but the Subscriptions function...is a little underwhelming. It's easily my least used function here. All it does is put the game on a dead list full of other games you subscribed to...and that's about it. Can there be more done with it? Not only to better serve players and makers by keeping them in the loop in their favorite games development, but actually...give people a reason to use it?
Some suggestions from the back of my head.
-Have it update you whenever a game in your list posted something new. As in 'Paradise Blue New Blog Posted!' or 'Hellion New Screenshot Uploaded!'
-Arrange the list of subscribed games in some sort of order, preferably most recently updated game at the top.
-Make it so a developer can send messages to all of his subscribers at once. I can imagine this having a plethora of uses.
These are just three simple suggestions from the top of my head which in my opinion would help the subscription feature immensely. I see a lot of potential in the feature, it just has to be...used.
(also, we are still waiting on that comment notification on game pages)

Thank you for suggesting things that were already planned (except for the last suggestion)!
