Sonic's girlfriend Amy always annoyed me a ton.

As for characters that I can't stand, VA aside, I'm gonna roll with the entire cast of Disgaea 2 except Axel. Although Feldschlacht's character infuriates me just by looking at it.

For most awesome it's Gene from God Hand. Basically any scene that he's in is evidence to that point.

Tidus, with his irritating pre-pubescent voice, retarded clothes and general fuckwizardry has to be the pick of the litter. Though to be honest I didn't like any of the characters from FF 10. They made it a chore to enjoy the excellent plot. Seriously though, Tidus is the Jar Jar Binks of video games.

This, really. Tidus is one of the more realistic FF characters.
The entire cast of heroes from Tales of Symphonia. Especially the male and female lead. I frankly don't remember the villains.
The entire cast of villains from Tales of the Abyss. Especially dumb beast girl. The heroes are surprisingly less annoying, despite it being a Tales game.
I have heard good things about the latest game, but frankly I am not much for Tales stories. =)
