I hereby declare this the Year of the Civet.
Civets make their homes in diverse locations - from trees to land and even the water, giving them associations with the Elements of Air, Earth, and Water.
They are solitary creatures who can be tricksters or troublemakers, mischievous mimickers. Though there are not many legends and myths surrounding them, they are considered to be a setter of boundaries.
