"Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon - Episode 44" is an attempt to recreate some of the more iconic scenes from episode 44 of the anime as well as include some additional material from the manga as well. As such the project is very heavily focused on graphical appeal which it really succeeds at.

On the other hand the battle with Queen Beryl can feel needlessly drawn out since she sometimes takes half dozen rounds or more to defeat Sailor Mars, Sailor Jupiter, Sailor Mercury, and Sailor Venus. This is because Beryl will sometimes go from spamming her spell that can drop half of the inner Senshi in two rounds to trying to defeat the Senshi in hand to hand combat. From a narrative perspective this fight should probably be over at the end of the first round. After all, anyone familiar with "Sailor Moon" would know about the fall of the Silver Millennium.

And it would probably be pretty easy to achieve by having Beryl go last in the turn order. That way people can bear witness to the spectacle that is the Inner Senshi's attacks while also ensuring the story doesn't lose any momentum as we move towards Usagi's death at the hands of the Queen of Darkness.

Though I'll admit I'm not sure if I would recommend for or against this project. On the positive side this short project really manages to showcase what RPG Maker XP is capable of in terms of visual presentation. On the other hand this is arguably an inferior way to experience this content. In fact, the first thing that comes to mind when I think about this project are those old GBA cartridges they put episodes of Yu-Gi-Oh! on.

At any rate if you want to take the plunge on this one you can download it over at https://la-soldier.weebly.com/fan-made.html
"Sailor Chibi Moon's Great Adventure" was a bit of a pain in the butt for me to track down again since the site I originally found it on had gone under a while ago. Thankfully I managed to get lucky and find it in a bundle with some other Sailor Moon fan games. And after talking with the developer on youtube for a bit I was able to convince her to at least setup a folder on her google drive with the game.

And while I'll agree with her in part that this game isn't particularly good. It isn't as bad as she thinks it is either. This is because the bulk of the issues are very common to first time projects issues. So we have questionable mapping, combat that ranges from boringly easy to frustratingly difficult if you didn't take advantage of the cheap stat boosters in a few of the shops, and dialogue that feels awkward.

On a brighter note I suppose this game does double as a Wedding Peach fan game as well since you get to fight and recruit a few character from that series as well. And Chibi Moon wielding a rubber ducky as a weapon is absolutely hilarious. And for the curious I do have an old video review for this game.

And while I did include an updated download link in the description for the video. I suppose I can also post it here.

And yeah I asked if she would post the game here, but she doesn't want to do that for unspecified reasons and she doesn't want me to do it for her either.
