Hello everyone, been a while. Hope your all doing well.

So recently these past few months I've been working on my RPG Project "Adventure Realm" using the PS4 game "Dreams"

What is Dreams?
Dreams is a PS4 game made by Media Molecule who are most known for being the creators of the LittlebigPlanet series on the PS3/PS4.

Dreams is similar to LBP but also different. The best way to describe it, it's a game engine game. You can sculpt characters, objects, buildings etc if you can draw it, you can sculpt in Dreams, whilst also allowing users to create there own Music and with the Logic system allows people to code there game, movie, levels etc.
In short, if you can dream it, you can make it in dreams. It can't do everything but for what it can do is very amazing, I've seen creations on here that are simply amazing, beautiful and just wonderful to see.

So since you can make anything with Dreams, I've decided to take on the task of making a RPG game called "Adventure Realm"

What is Adventure Realm?

Adventure Realm is a RPG game being made by me. I'm using Dreams as I feel I can make the RPG game I always wanted.
So I'll write down a quick list of features that will be in the game.

Side Platforming Dungeons.
I've tried doing the good old 3D dungeon exploring but I always like to give a different experience, not really new but something that most 3D RPG's wont do and that's 2.5D Dungeons.

The player will explore Dungeons in a 2.5 style, It wont be a A to B style, but more like you can start at A, Go to B, go back out of B, then go to C, with a few other little detours to give the exploring feel.

In the dungeons they will be "Tiles" these tiles can have various interactions with player, such as "Treasure" so if they player walks over this they can get a item, weapon, stat etc from the Dungeon, as well as "moving tiles" that if walked on will send the player up, down, left or right, oh and "Gate tile", to get past a "Gate tile" you'll need a Key or a Switch to open it, plus many more.

Dungeon Insensitive and coins! So, Each dungeon will have the following objectives.

1. Defeat all Enemies.
2. Find all Orbs
3. Find all Treasures etc

Each time you complete a objective you are reward with Dungeons Coins that you can use to buy equipment from the Dungeon Store.


The Battle system!

Ok so the battle system is a 4x4 vs a 4x4 Grid style that uses a "ACT" system.

Party members will be on there own 4x4 grid and enemies will have theirs and can't swap Grids but can move around theirs.

The party set up will be, Tank, Healer and 2 DPS, 1 physical and 1 Magical.

ACT, determines how long your Action will take before it executes. So some Actions will cost 30ACT whilst others may be 45ACT but will hit harder unless it has a mana cost which reduces ACT cost.

Stun! Paralis! Vex!
If you notice a Enemy readying a Spell or Ability, you can use Stun for Ability or Vex for Spells or Paralis for both! but once applied and the effect wears off, the'll be immune to that effect for a while.

Stats down?
Tanks can reduce the damage the party receives by applying status down effects, either Magic damage or Physical damage but 2 damage reducing effects can't be applied at the same time. So you either have Magic damage down on 1 enemy or Physical or 1 physical down and Vex them if they start casting.

Stances?

Stances are like active ability buffs that can be swapped during party member turns. So tanks, can choose a even balance of Magical/physical damage received down by 10% or Just Magic at 20%? Each Party member has there own stance they can swap during battle with different effects.

A Video?

Eyep, I've uploaded a small video of the battle system but please keep in mind this is a VERY early WIP progress.
