Below are spoilers of the entire game synopsis.
Game Synopsis:
Taking place in a land called Avaron.
Reginald comes from a village that has the last remaning Aion's that he knows of. Aion's are basically a human that has the synchrony to hold a Ethereal being. Ethereal beings are those who reside by an Aion's side and gives them the power of magic, as long as the Aion gives them allowance to reside inside them as a vessel. Ethereal beings, or Sprites, become drained without a physical body to rest in and Aion's have the ability to perceive them and hold them.
Many years ago Aion's and Humans as well as Sprite's used to live together. However Humans started depending on Aion's and Sprites to deal with their problems too greatly, causing the Sprite's to become corrupted. Sprite's are corrupted if they use too much power without having a vessel to reside in, if something happens to their vessel or if they get lost into despair. Sprite's do not have a correct emotional filter to prevent them from drowning in evil.
Sprite's who have become lost are called Elves, beings who prey on weak people making them do awful things and then eating them. They can also do things such as cause illnesses or wars. Elves use a darker side of magic which is called Illuminoty which kills everything it touches and spreads faster than anything else.
Humans seemed to forget that Aion's and Humans had feelings and kept asking too much of them without putting effort into their own life. Because Sprite's were supposed to be a type of being that could create miracles and rid of suffering, they believed they could use them to keep in an Era of peace. However this just made things worse, until the Sprite's no longer resided with the Aion's.
The humans not believing the Sprite's had fled the Aion's called them selfish for keeping the Sprite's powers to themselves and called war, killing as many as they could. Orfeus, Reginald's grandfather, retreated those who lived into a small village and used Illusionary magic with the last remaining Sprite, who refused to leave the humans side even if being shunned by the rest of the Sprite's.
Reginald was found in the forest as a baby, and it seems he had been abandoned by his parents. Orfeus could not find the mother and could see the baby had synchrony in them, believing the mother might have been killed he took him in and raised him. When Reginald comes to the town and finds it in ruins its because someone was able to break through the illusionary magic and even kill the Sprite.
It could not be a regular human and in anger believing everyone he loved had been murdered Reginald leaves to get revenge on the culprit. He later meets Tifda who is a Sprite herself. Tifda is a Sprite of Knowledge and saw on the Tree of Knowledge that the Aion's would be killed. So she tried to warn the only one she could reach out too, which was Reginald because he had no former Sprite vessel connected to him.
Tifda meets him and leaves off and on during the first part of the journey as she cannot keep her form without a vessel and is trying to find the right time to tell Reginald.
Renegades are Aion's and Sprite's that have turned against their kind into something sort of corrupt but wanted it for power or some reason. This is what killed the Aion's. Koi and Rift did this to become stronger. Rift is a Sprite that was born with a moonlight power, she could change the essence of the moon and all that came with it. Upon accidentally summoning and Red Moon and it causing bloodshed to people around her the Sprite's cursed her and banned her from their kind.
Koi is an Aion himself who is particularly strong, and Rift is his Sprite. He wanted to be the only Aion left, the only inhuman being with the power of magic so he could be the next God. As long as nobody else had the same power his goal could become complete, and he could make a better world where people did not suffer and Rift could lift her curse.
Rift can kill Sprite's with a gun she has. When Sprite's die they shatter into glass like items that sparkle a sort of rainbow color.
Requesting Information
Now that the synopsis is over with, I need someone that's good with mapping. Making cities, making plains, making forests... etc. I don't have anything I can give that takes money right now, so you'd either have to wait until I get my check and buy you something or do it for free. I don't know how many maps there will be but I'm sure there'll be 20+.
My last works were Blank Space and Highschool Contracts in case you're wondering what I'm capable of. I'd like someone that's used to making maps and can make really beautiful one and sort of detailed ones. I guess I'm asking for a more advanced map maker.
