CloseI'm sure people have requested this before, and I'm also sure there is a very good reason why we don't have it yet. I couldn't find anything with a quick search though.
It would be really awesome if hide tags actually worked in the preview of topics/posts.
I tend to press the preview button 5 million times to check whether the format of my posts is correct, but if I use hide tags it's always a bit of a gamble. I can get rid of the hide tags to check what's underneath, but I can never check the full post. I get especially anxious with very long topics that have lots of different hide tags, like forum games and the like.
It's a minor inconvenience, but if it's an easy thing to add, I'd very much appreciate the ability to use hide tags in the preview.

So I just found out you also can't use lists in hide tags? That's definitely something that should be fixed as well, even moreso than the hide tags in preview.

I too have seen this and wish it could be addressed. Then again, I think the same thing applies to when a post is first posted; IIRC, you can't check hide tags without first refreshing the page.
This probably shouldn't be too hard. It mostly has to do with how/when the code gets attached to the OnClick event of the button. I can probably make the Show/Hide button work a bit better all over by attaching a function right to the OnClick event of the button.
EDIT: Yup, not hard at all. You will probably need to do a hard refresh (CTRL + SHIFT + R in Chrome, not sure about other browsers) for the changes to be picked up.

Lists still seem not to work in hide tags, but viewing them in the preview works perfectly! You can also view them immediately after editing them rather than having to refresh the page!
