ANYONE PLAYED ARTIFACT ADVENTURE?

So, I've come across this neat little RPG maker game on Steam for $6 called Artifact Adventure. It's basically Skyrim but made in the style of the old Final Fantasy games. I'm about 12 hours in, and it's among one of the best RPG maker games I've ever played.
Anyways, I was just wondering that with a game this good, how come I've heard nothing about it before? It's been out for little over a year, and I haven't seen anything about it. So, I just thought I'd spread the word for anyone who hasn't had the privilege of playing this gem. I'd highly suggest looking into it.
Here's a link for those who can't be bothered to google it.

That trailer is very very dull. And says nothing about what kind of impact or focus it has (since there seem to be quite a few fun things in it, like choices that matter)
That's just by looking at it~
It's a common fact tho that there are many many many games out there. And even if it's good, it may not fit the seeked out niche or may simply not be noticed among the others.

Extra Credits pretty much sums up what's good about the game here
I'm very excited to play this - right from the get go when I saw it.
I've been pouring my time into the witcher and DQV, but I might cheat a bit and see how the game is...

Looks to be a pretty decent NES-styled game. The little detail of making the castle use the overworld castle sprite while still in town is a nice nod to Dragon Warrior III.
But they kept the default HP/MP bars and that BOTHERS ME.

I picked it up shortly after EC recommended it.
I like it so far, although I will 100% admit to having an Artifact guide in one of my tabs, so every time I find an artifact I can triple check what it does before choosing who to give it to, because the in-game descriptions are non-existent.
I really do enjoy the bizarre flexibility the game has, and how much the starting choice impacts the game. I'm having a blast with the airship, going all over the world looking for stuff to do or artifacts to plunder, and I can't imagine doing without it...Yet I really wish I could make use of the many hidden temples dotted around the world. (The Artifact starting choice is shit though, unless you're doing a solo run. They should have given out some abilities, maybe some basic healing spell in that set too.)
It's not a great game, but it's a neat diversion that I have no problems having bought at the price that I did. My only real complaint is that I wish I could save anywhere. Hell, even if it was a quicksave I'd be happy about it.
Well, that and healing is just....What? Healing herbs and the multi-person water is getting useless to me now, and that multi-person heal I picked up on my gunner dude can only help so much. Dungeons are now pure attrition of resources with little active skill or decision making. Which isn't a BAD thing, it's just... I prefer more hands-on meatier combat where individual ability usage can decide a battle.
EDIT: Oh freakin' finally found an artifact that heals for more than 30 HP. Took long enough!
(Funny story, I didn't know it was RPGmaker when I bought it. As soon as I saw that menu-fade-in effect though, my brain went "Wait...That seems familiar. Too familiar. This is RPGmaker, innit?")
