I think that I'm also experiencing a similar type of problem. It seems (to me, at least) that my messages are not being received to those I send them to. That...or they're just not answering. =| But I couldn't really see why, as it isn't anything too big.
Just a little notice, because I also tried to send a second message to verify the first.

If the message has been sent it should say,
Message sent to whoever successfully. That will appear at the top of the screen.

It does say that, but I sometimes doubt wether or not the message really got sent through or not. That, or I'm being paranoid/impatient for no apparent reason. Which, knowning me, is probably true. But eh.
Also, the person I was trying to contact was Harmonic. I guess I'll leave this here just incase. =O

As a note, the popup frame functionality on the site does not properly work in all browsers. If your messages are not being sent, that is the most probable cause.
