Ok, So lets make a list of when its ok to bump your topic, and when it a big no~no and you get a slap on the rist for it. So we have a refrence for everyone.
Ok:
Ok:
- Top Ten Topics
- Adding Relevance to a topic
- Old Topics that have no relevence
- Being an Idiot about posting
- The "Three Day" Reminder Post
I thought the common sense/decency rule is that when your (still relevant) topic has not been posted in for three days to a week, it is okay to bump it to remind people it exists.
I was under the impression that on this forum, necroposting was fine so long as there was a relevant thing to add to the discussion and it wasn't just stirring up old conflicts to be a dick.
It's not like any of the forums move so fast that you can fairly say that you're crowding the front page of the forum with old threads, anyway.
As for bumping....I'm against the idea in general. The only reason to bump a thread is if there's something new to say on the subject.

Pretty much this. As for necroposting i think that it's fine so long as your putting something relevant into the topic. I don't really see much necroposting anyway besides the top ten topics.
