Yup. Exactly as the title says. I am a complete noob looking to build a game with some help from a team. Yes, I have never built a complete game before, but I feel this would be an enormous help for my growth as game developer, and help me prepare for my years ahead. If I remember correctly, it is recommended that I post a substantial amount of information on the game, and the positions needed. So, here we go.
The Game:
The game itself is similar to the Devil Survivor series of games, as well as Final Fantasy Tactics A2, with a tactical battle system. In bsttle, characters can used up to three Ephemeral Demos, which have a certain number of uses before breaking, preventing you from using the BELL ever again, unless you have it repaired for a hefty price. You have one other Demos you can use in battle, called a Zenithal Demos, which is a Demos who willingly joined the character. They will get tired though, after a certain number of uses, and their uses can be replenished by defeating opponents. The story though, follows the hero as he rises through the ranks of DEUS, an organization based around examining strange phenomenon called Blank Zones, and the creatures known as Demos (Pronounced Day-mos) that appear within them. Luckily, they figured out how to contain these creatures, within BELLs, special containment units that allow the owner to use the Demos' powers. As new mysteries are uncovered, such as the strange Arkanein, a being that can manipulate Demos, and Hatter, a strange Demos able to completely erase Blank Zones surface.
Now, I feel that is a good enough description. Now lets get to the actual team requests.
-Composer-
Someone with some expertise, and able to work for free, much like everyone else on this list. I would like someone who can work with Vocaloid, particularly Gumi (Or Megpoid , as she is sometimes called). Fortunately, for some of you out there, this is not required at all, as it is a bit of a stretch, and is just wishful thinking. Though I would like someone who is able to make some modern-ish sounding music.
-Writer-
Despite being a resident Grammar Nazi, I am not good at dialogue at all. Seriously, I suck at it. I would like it if someone good at dialogue would join, and help. I can handle a lot of the story, characters, etc. But dialogue is my weakness when it comes to writing.

Exactly as it sounds, this is handling character busts, the logo, and if possible, other things such as monster busts, and other things that come up. The style I'm looking for is... I guess anime stlye, like the characters from Persona, or Devil Surivor. Really, I don't suppose there is much to talk about right here. Onto the next one.
-Spriter-
This is mostly for enemies, and characters, making them look like they should, I might be able to handle a few characters, but I'm not sure. They all need death animations, attack animations, etc. It would also be great if they handled icons, etc. Oh, and some tilesets, but that is completely optional, as I have heard howq hard that is!
-Scripter-
Probably one of the most important jobs. This is for basically everything from the tactical battle system, to the navigation. Despite this, don't be overwhelmed! You can do it! Yeah! I really don't have much more to say about this topic! So on to the next one!
-Mapper-
I can do a ton of this, the only thing I will really have trouble with is the battle areas, which is almost everything, but there will be a few interactive areas you can wander around, which I should be able to do with ease. So good luck!
That is all, folks! All I can really say is two things. One is don't stress yourself out, do it at your own pace. The other is don't yell at other people in the comments, including me. A ton of people are really sensitive, and we don't want to hurt their feelings.
To all that help, thank you, and to all that don't, still, thank you for reading this.

I suggest checking out these articles on Teamwork by Red Nova:
Teamwork and You: Part 1, Part 2, Part 3.
While I think your game idea sounds really cool, I don't think starting your first project off as a team effort with 5+ other people assisting you will actually help your growth as a developer nearly as much as making your first game on your own.
I'm not saying to make this game by yourself, just make a game. Most of us started that way. If you can't make sprites, art, or music, use RTP or available assets. Make it short and sweet.
Given the time and dedication needed to complete a game (even a short one), I think it's safe to assume that you're going to have trouble attracting talented people if you haven't completed anything prior to this. Not trying to be mean, it's just that after seeing many of these types of threads where the person in charge has never completed a game project before, there usually aren't many takers.

RTP is the way to go if you can't create your own assets (this includes the VX and XP RTPs, which also have things worth looking at). In fact, I wanna use VX songs simply because I like them that much.
If you can get good people on this I'll volunteer for the art position. My Portfolio
You have beautiful artwork! It is amazing! But I'm looking for that style, sadly.
P.S. You just got a subscriber!

Yeah, your first game is going to be a steaming pile of extremely fragrant crap. Do you really want to do that to your dream game?
It isn't my dream game.
I don't have one.
I just have a list of games ideas.
An extremely long, list spanning
36 and a half 400 page notebooks.
Literally.

That's cool ^_^
Do you have a game idea that's a little smaller in scope, to start out with? That might help you out in getting started.
