[RM2K3] MARVELS SUPER HEROES RPG!!!! SPRITERS HELP WANTED!!!!!

The title says it all!! I am making a Marvel RPG game. Since you can buy Rm2k3 now I can finally bought it happily and am now asking for help with sprite making. I have alot of character sets but I have to make more. A friend of mine on deviant art has made of the years most of the Marvel movie characters. I have been using the program for a long time now but I have had to start over on this project, lucky me, more sprites have been made!!!.
So what I need help on is the following:
Some character sets - original in the RTP style of spriting. Or edits from the classic version of characters to their movie versions.
Battle Sprites - I am contemplating on keeping the battle sprites looking like final fantasy 6 or going for this other style I may use. either way I have to make all of those.
Monster sprites - The monster sprites I am using are just pokemon trainer sprites edited to look just like the movie characters.
This game is being made by myself, with a story from one an admin from a marvel cinematic group im part of on facebook.
In the game you fight follow our version of the complete movie saga based on the hit movies from Fox Studios, New Line, Sony and Marvel Studios. So yes there will be A version of the alien invasion of New York, Age of Ultron, Civil War and of course The Infinity War!!!! Please note that events of those will change because we dont want to just copy the movies.
The entire game is made up of different games within a game! That meaning theres a sub game for every movie franchise. That will hopefully include an Agents of Shield game as well!!
The adventure will take you from Kell's Kitchen to Malibu, to Northern Canada. To the far away land Japan to stop The coming of the Destroyer!!! The world map Ill be making after im done inputting all of the monster sets into the program will allow a player to hop in their Fantasti-Car, Quinn Jet or Blackbird and fly all over the world. Venture to the farthest reaches of space and join The Guardians of the Galaxy in their quest to stop the Mad Titan, Thanos!
If you are interested in helping out you know how to reach me and if you have any question about the game in general please feel free to just ask as I love talking about game making and especially Marvel comics so this is just a dream game ive been wanting to make for years!! But these sprites werent around.

Yup but ive got nothing else to do at this moment in time. just work and save money. Ive actually been working on this none stop. after i posted this i started working on the game again.
and I will post more. even the screen shots will be updated!!

If you end up not wanting to work on such a large project - it's entirely possible to make less expansive Marvel games...
and thank you calunio for the resources!!! these have definately helped out!!! especially that intro movie!! now it will truly be a marvel experience!
You might want to know that Marvel threatened to sue RMN because of Marvel Brothel's copyright infringements. It's unlikely that it will happen to your game too, but it's a good thing to keep in mind. :)
well to be honest, marvel brothel isnt a family friendly game hahaha. and thanks i will. and no.. not just sticking to one character.

To cover every character... It takes awhile just to make one good game, not to mention 10+ "sub games".
ya i know. but im pretty good at using the program. the only thing that has ever really stopped me is the graphics department. theres never been sprites and moster sprites, and battle graphics that are done well. until these last few years. and the makers of the sprites dont even use any game making program! There is no fan game or actual game that covers these characters.
map making is easy. sprite editing is not too bad for me. i just cant edit the really detailed monster sprites. Since i got that Wasp sprite from calunio I made ant-man. movie version with mask one, two with mask off ( hank pym and scott lang) and a ant sized one too. Once i get all the graphics in place the the rest is smooth sailing.

Isn't the use of licensed characters in free fan works protected under fair use?
To an extent, yes. Marvel's very accommodating to their fans. I can't see them suing over the op proposal, but they are very jealous of the particular image they present, so, yes, I can definitely see them going after Marvel Brothel.

the reason they went after marvel brothel is because of the misuse of their characters. if the movie studios do the same to their characters marvel can fight to get their movie rights back. In this case it portrayed their characters in a demeaning way lol.

Can I make a suggestion? Only have a small selection of heroes join your party via main quest and you need to go out of your way to recruit the others. Also, given how attached the heroes are to their powers and equipment, you shouldn't try to make too much character customization happen, instead make it possible to adjust one's playstyle by picking different heroes.
well thats kind of how im doing this. im using Couslon an Shield to connect all the different franchises. kinda like how they used him in phase one of the avengers movies.
theres not alot of tweaking of the powers. some characters will shoot bullets. Spidey will be like that but with him you have to make the web cartridges. you have to go the different places and get all the different ingredients from stores and then mix them together.
the main story is the infinity gems. but to get to that point you have to level up the characters. so in the smaller sub games you get to level up each of the heroes in their own stories. once all of the different stories are done you get to choose your own team and try to take down Thanos. This way by this time most of the characters should be leveled up enough to beat him.
