HIGH END EXPERIMENT - SEEKING TEAM / INDIVIDUALS

Hey all.
I've been following this forum from time to time but just joined to post this information/request or whatever you might want to call it.
I am a film director based in Norway who is thinking of adapting a script into game. I've always been an avid gamer myself since before I could walk and trying to find ways to combine free time with career. On my team already is one of of the best sound designers in europe, a scriptwriter who has had a show export from Norway to Canada and US through among others Netflix. One of the voice actors involved currently plays in Game of Thrones. I myself have won multiple prestigious awards although they don't really mean anything. I'm not trying to namedrop (which I purposely didn't) I just want to give you the credentials of this project.
It is a passion project of those involved who are doing this as of now on credit, meaning no one currently is getting paid since no producers are involved at the moment, but they have rather chosen to own a part of the game. If the game sells, great. But that's not the motivator.
If it is for whoever wants to join the team, we will not hold that against you and will try to find payment that will suit you.
Now, I don't know anything about how large a team is actually needed for making a game in RM. I've tried to teach myself and it's gone surprisingly easy to learn, but it takes time. At least for me doing it on a hobbybasis and mostly to not be ignorant of the process.
As of now I'm thinking programmer, sprite designer and map designer if I'm not wrong? Then I also want to ask if RM is suitable for people to work together on a project? Also, if you are not interested but still want to help I would appreciate any tips on team structure and staffing.
I am sorry I can't say too much about the project at this point, but I can tell you it will be a drama with science fiction elements (but this part is a work in progress). I also want to explore the possibility of multiple choice answers, if this is possible within RM programming? Feeling that going from linear narrative to immersive, it would be a shame not to fully use the tools to trigger the heart and mind by at least adding consequense.
We would prefer a team from Norway or Sweden as this would make it easier to meet and work face to face, but have no problems with anyone as long as they have the skills and the attitude, I know you will love the project.
Thanks for taking the time to read this.

You actually have to tell us about the project as well as provide screen shots to ask people to join your team.

Well that seemed a bit of a short and underwhelming response, kory. This opportunity seems quite descriptive and it seems to come from someone who at least has their head screwed on. Judging from their description, they mustn't have started any development on the real game itself apart from the script, so I can't see how screenshots would be a possibility here. Besides, the Job Board Rules don't indicate that screenshots are mandatory.

Technically, a game can be made with even just one person on the team, provided that person has the variety of skills required to make a game.

Programming is not such a big thing in creating an RM game. Most successful teams consist of a writer, a game designer and an artist, or something to that effect. Since RPG Maker is designed to be easily learned by beginners and requires little to no scripting knowledge whatsoever to be initiated into, I don't think a programmer is necessarily necessary.
There have been many great games made by teams in RPG Maker, usually with a sense of each providing what they are useful in, for example dungeon design, battle system design, sprites and art, story writing, and other roles. Generally music is found for free, unless you want an OST in which case you'd hire or commission a composer.

Of course it is possible to have multiple routes in an RM game, kind of like a visual novel.

You might have a lot of trouble finding people from this site that: a) are from Norway or Sweden, b) have great skills and are suitable for your project, and c) are willing to meet in person. I think you'll find that a great many fantastic developers from this site can work online seamlessly, it's just a case of you finding the right developer that'll work instead of lazing around and watching YouTube videos, and has a proven track record of freely released fun games with good reception. I'd suggest you do your research.
For more tutorials on how to organize a team, look no further than consulting Red_Nova's 3-part Teamwork and You series. His commercial game with unity and Sooz is one of the prime examples of how to successfully work in a team, and he documents it from start to finish.
On another note, it would be beneficial if you could provide details on what kind of game you're making in terms of gameplay genre. Whether it's turn-based RPG or action RPG or puzzle game, we don't know, and it'd be better if we did. If you had an idea of the vision you wanted to create in greater detail, particularly gameplay wise, I reckon more experienced developers would be interested. Because to be frank, the most reliable help you're going to get to create your game is from experienced developers, and they're going to be interested in your idea of what the game is, rather than the story. So convince us.
You do need to include more details than you currently have. A lot more. People are busy and not likely to jump on board something that they know nothing about - they like to know whether the project interests them or not. Since this isn't a commercial venture you will have a harder time of it since people have their own games to make and are less likely to want to team up for this kind of thing.
If you have images or anything you've made in the past that you can show off - so that people can see your skills - then do that. If you don't then show them that it's worth it to join up with you in some way.
Also, we do required that you show about as much as people show off on game profiles. Granted, if you don't have images it's hard to show that off but you could at least tell people about the game, detail the exact job you expect to need and show something of your ability off.

Thank you for quick and great responses! Really appreciate CashmereCats breakdown. This first post was me trying out the waters and want to keep encouraging questions if you feel something should be known to you beforehand.
I will immediately get in touch with my current team and make a quick plan on what we can/cannot divulge of personal info and of project, and will get back here soon with; if not screenshots of the project, at least some visuals to help you get an idea of where we see this going. Also I will be providing more specific info overall on the actual game and gameplay, although these might be linked with questions on the possibility of them actually being funcctional. I know I sound cryptic and maybe don't make sense, but hopefully you will understand me after my next reply and will also share proof of skill for myself and current team. I will of course ask the same in return, at least to some extent, from the person/s joining us.
Thanks again and looking forward to talk more soon!
EDIT: Forgot to mention that Norway/Sweden link as posted previously is NOT a requirement, only a bonus if that were the case. We have neither problems nor are we strangers to being creative over the wire.

Concept art is something that you can use in leiu of screenshots. It gives people the idea of where you're headed design-wise and whether their ability/style would be a good fit.
And yeah, you do need to put something in about the story so that people know whether they'll be interested or not. ;p

Heyo. It would be nice to know something about the project, like genre even, but I digress;
If you find yourself needing an illustrator for concept art, face sets, promo art, logo art, additional illustrations etc then send me a PM.
I'm a little more interested in getting my name in some projects than monetary compensation right now.
